Bolt action effectively requires some measure of reloading between EVERY shot, so at the very least, that significantly reduces ROF, and having it as 1 round clip would make sense.

it really dosnt make sense. in a FPS. if it was a one hit incap. i could understand but having to reload every shot would be a major pain and it would probably make me not even consider using it. there should be at least some kind of multiple round detachable magazine

Well from someone at Pax said the Barret had a clip of 4 and had 12 bullets total. Also a heck of a reload time.

Double-tap is a term used by military, antiterrorist and SWAT-type groups for a quick couple of bullets to the head of a target (often with SMGs that have a burst fire mode like the MP5).

I'm confused on what this exactly means. The way he put it it sounds like the rifles can't actually kill anyone and that you need to pull out your other weapon in order to score the kill. Or are they just saying that in regards to the most efficient use of the rifle?

this is not good not fkn good you can move really fast in brink and you can not kill with the sniper WTF if you shout someone with a sniper if will just run way for the corner and get more life and kill you with havy gun like in homefront sniper dont have one shot kill... and you can use outo and sniper with more damage with heat vison or somtheng but if you really vant to to be the player with the highest score you dont use snipers... but that is [censored] i want sniper with 1 shot 1 kill this is not good game balance
