Longevity and the Bionic Sarasparilla dispenser

Here's the thing... Mr House is all hooked on his great longevity, right? I mean bragging on his two hundred years locked in a glorified Nukacola machine with life support tubes in obviously uncomfortable places, and unable to get a breath of air for fear of infections. Now, I gotta say two hundred years is a long time to live (if you call that living), I'm sure, but...

If House is so smart, why is it that the ghouls do it so much better than he does? I mean, sure they look like a spoiled pork roast, disguised as zombies, but I'd way rather be a Beatrix or Bright or a Harland for 200 years than be Mr House trapped in a wannabe cappuccino machine... Besides, they even LOOK and sound better than he does, eh?

Whaddya think? Who wins the longevity challenge, House or the ghouls?

Odd thread title, but they achieve longevity through different routes - Mr House through his suspended animation chamber, and the ghouls through radiation. One is based on science and the other on SCIENCE!

Do ghouls have a vast network of mainframes, data storage, extensive pre-War archives, and ability to control, direct, and organize vast armies of robots with their mind only? Didn't think so.

You apparently don't understand how House functions. He isn't stuck in the body at the heart of Lucky 38, his mind is free in its electronic network, the ghost in the machine, capable of drawing upon its vast resources and forging out a new world. He can just as easily view the entire Mojave in its entirety as through the lenses of a single Securitron. He is an ascended human being, a machine god.

Hmmm...

Yes, I can see that House can see whatever his securitrons can see, but can he feel it? taste it? smell it?

The poorest of ghouls can live a relatively normal life for hundreds of years.

House can't live a relatively normal life at all.

Which is preferable and why, that's the question, eh?
