Well i dont think a mutant has the strength to tear a suit of power armor in half, unless you mean Frank Horrigan.

wasn't that just a trailer and not actual gameplay you know people have been making gameplay trailers look a lot more better than the actual game

Still hoping for a Fallout engine separate from Skyrim. But that does look rad, 11-11-11 is gonna be wicked.

I hope the next fallout has a node-based map with large sandbox nodes, everyone wins.

being torn in half and nuked (his canon death) didnt kill him, he merely got ghoulified, his torso dragged his lower half to a secret Enclave base and they put him back together.

They have the technology.

What's sad is that I would expect no less from Bethesda.

i cant remember in nod based maps can you walk around entire map without fast travel? but the mutant thing is half true in fallout 3 elder rothechild said that mutants could pull limbs off and tear flesh out and lets hope for more stuff like that instead of old school shooting limbs off and turning corpses into meat chunks say blowinga body in half or riping a big peace out and Frank horrigan coming back would cause me to S!$# my self in terrier!!!!!!! cuz if a NUKE CANT DESTROY HIM WHAT WILL!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, Fallout 4 should look amazing; I'm hoping that the engine can support more NPCs for more populated towns, personally.

And guys? You don't like FO3, we get it. Please don't derail this into another completely off-topic "FO3 svcks" thread.

Yay the graphics and animations are good!

...

Can I have my good writing, turn based combat and map node system now please...? <_<
I don't really give a crap about graphics or good animations, those are only a bonus to the game, I care about it's writing, gameplay, difficulty curve and mechanics.

Map nodes could work, but turn based combat is an outdated game mechanic that only came to be because of limitations.

Oh sorry, "optional turnbased" is what I meant I guess.
And I don't care if it's outdated, I liked it way more than twitch shooting enemies in FO3 and NV anyway.
Should be back for those that would want to use it.

Not really, just saying that graphics shouldn't be of importance when it comes to an RPG.

Meh, I'd rather not have nodes, personally. I really like having the entire game world as a single coherent entity, it feels better than the nodes of FO1&2 (and yes, I've played them). It just feels more "together", for lack of a better word.

Fable III used a node system and it just didn't feel like anywhere near as impressive or coherent a world as FO3's or FONV's maps.

So you want a map node system, you do know that the FO2 map, with technology from a decade ago, was 53% bigger than FO3.

@Tuninator, i dont want a single sandbox map, it is way to small and crowded, its cramped, a large node-based map with sanbox nodes is a great compromise.
