Look sensitivity issues after patch

Post » Mon Dec 12, 2011 1:59 pm

So after updating my y axis look sensitivity is extremely low. I've changed the sensitivity in options and it doesn't help at all. Anyone got a fix for this??

It's simple. People who modified their .ini files are having trouble with the patch. People who didn't aren't. Dunno how to fix your issue, but you could try restoring your original files and patching again.

You have to delete your skyrim.ini and everything will be fixed.

You say "only" like it means something different than most people would mean.

Move your ini files into another folder and launch the game. It'll generate a new set of them in the original folder. Then add back in your tweaks into the new ini files.

Whatever man, basically the game is unplayable due to this patch and I'm not happy about it. I wish they would fix this soon.

Its not the ini files. I've even verified game integrity with steam and it still has same issue. When I go to rotate objects and stuff it works fine. Also it's like that whether I use my 360 controller or my mouse an keyboard so it not a controller issue

Seriously dude, I had your same exact issue. Deleting the skyrim.ini fixed it for me.

Stop [censored] rating me out of ten I'm not trolling and I'll try deleting the files. I restored my backups but I haven't tried outright deleting them, thanks.

Cool story bro. I don't see how you could possibly think this was a troll thread but whatever. Feel free to rate this post 0/10

My favorite part is when OP didn't realize he was being trolled.

But yeah, .ini files and all that jazz, it'll fix you right up. I think that's the only real solution until a next patch... I had to do the same to un-f**k my 360gamepad controls. If you changed them at all, that's going to be what's messing with you. If not, then IDFK how you even got that screwed up.

edit: didn't see you fixed the problem. cool that you got your [censored] working though

I had the same symptoms as the OP before the patch, and I am running 100% vanilla with no mods. I could hardly look up and down. The patch helped that a lot. I'm still not really happy with mouse behavior in general but it's a lot better after the patch.
