Looking for armory/weapons mods...

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 4:19 pm

1. I'm looking for some armory/weapons mods that add a variety of stuff to the loot list. I'm not using Frans/MMM/OOO - so nothing that depends upon those. I've already searched the mods with "armory" in their name but didn't come up with too much. Mostly stuff that adds their items to a single chest. Does anyone have any suggestions for equips added to loot list so I can find them in chests from time to time?

2. Additionally, my first game around I had this one armory mod that added orange/amber/red glass gear to random chests as well as bandits and bad guys. There may have been some weapons in this mod too. I just can't seem to find it on my hard drive and I don't know what it was called. Does anyone know the mod I'm thinking of?

Thanks!

1. You searched "armory" and did not come up with Bob's Oblivion Armory? Have you tried Loth's Blunt Weapons, Armamentarium, Artifacts... I need to think some more, but if you want "variety" added, it still sounds like you want to add one of those overhauls you are avoiding.

OH sorry :D I have Bob's Armory. And Armamentarium, and Artifacts, and just found PJs but that's all I have.. *sorry I didn't specify those - I'm still bleary eyed this morning* I don't know about Loth's (will look at that). Yeah I might try loading Fran's at a later point - I'm sure I'd be very happy with that. I guess I just want to see more unique stuff in chests.

Yeah, that information would have been kind of useful...haha. You can also just use the new items part of Frans. I think you can get most of the new items part without installing too much of the rest of the mod.

2. I forgot to post this last time, but I think I used a mod like that as well...I will try to do a quick search on TESNexus.

Edit: Slofs and Orcs Armours add new glass armor sets to the leveled lists. I thought I used a Slof mod that did that...

1. Yeah I was wondering if I could use that items part of the mod without using frans. I read it three times and decided no. If anyone's used the items part without installing Fran's I'd appreciate knowing how it went. (I guess I might have to try myself)

2. Not Slof's I would have remembered. There were multiple colors of glass armor and other armors as well. I'm sure I don't have a copy of it since I can't find it on my drive. Maybe someone else will remember. It's an oldie. :)

1. You would definitely have to install part of Fran's mod. Have you tried installing Item Interchange. That may help if you are trying to have random mods' items added to LL. You could also make leveled lists for random mods yourself. I have done that for a few of the mods I use. Overhauls are good for taking a bunch of new content and putting it all together, but individual mods are individual mods...

I have Item Interchange but I don't see stuff from my mods showing up elsewhere. Just stuff from the Cobl items (si foods, salmo the baker items etc) - they show up across vendors and Tamriel Travelers but they carry none of my mods' items (not that I've noticed so far). OK thanks. I guess there's not a whole lot I can do other than what you both have described. I'll try the idea of making some leveled lists mods myself and maybe I'll try Frans this time with the item mod.
