Looking for Blender Volunteer using 2.62+

Hi, I'm looking for a guinea pig,

it would be great if you had blender x64 2.69; but any blender from 2.62 and up will work.

basically i need someone to test this nif injector; make any model in blender then follow these instructions to inject your obj model into any nif with a NiTriShape.

For whatever reason, this doesn't work for me. And i have no idea why. It's not well known and i'm working with the author right now, but i'd like to get some more feedback.

download the injector:

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34226/?

Create any mesh in Blender and name it something you can remember in Blender and export it as an .OBJ file.

Save the .OBJ in the same directory you extracted the injector.

Find a vanilla nif; and delete all the NiTriShapes except one, and make sure its a NiTriShape that contains an actual mesh. The highlight the NiTriShape and in the block details click on the TXT and change the name to whatever you named your mesh.

(You may need to open up your .obj file in a text editor like Notepad or Notepad++ and check to see what it's named. My blender sometimes exports the name with a _cube behind it if i start with a cube primitive, I just delete the _cube in the text editor and save the obj.)

Click the start button and type cmd in the search and open up the command line. In your injector folder you should have the meshinjector.exe, your cleaned nif and your .OBJ model.

First drag the meshinjector.exe into the command line and make sure there is a space behind it. so hit spacebar (it wont work without a space behind each of the things you drop in).

Next drop in your cleaned NIF and spacebar.

Finally drop in your .OBJ file, space, then type -q and hit enter.

This should make a new nif file. My new nif that it creates has nothing in it. If yours has something in it and it properly injected your nif, then it succeeded. in fact the meshinjector.exe crashes on me after it injects the vertices. So let me know what happens.

Why I'm doing this:

Spoiler

I need this to work to get custom animations on statics, the 3ds script doesn't export all the keys properly, so this is a crucial step on getting new animations onto objects in skryim. I know exactly how to get the animations into skyrim now, i'm just having trouble with these tools. Once i get it working, i'll make a tutorial.

Thanks for the help
