I recently started playing.

Is there a mod that allows you to have candles with light? A player can drop these objects inside a home to illuminate dark spots. There are plenty of candles and candlestands but they are not playable objects.

I looked and searched for something like this but could not find successfully. Or it could be any light emitter that allows us to drop and place anywhere in the home.

Candles for Kleptos does what you want, I think.

It's a long time since I tried it but from memory there were two problems with that mod:

1. Most candles don't actually give out 'real' light - possibly not a problem if using the Real Lights component of http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=18305.

2. When placing, they tended to hang in mid-air - lack of appropriate collision I assume. Maybe a mod like http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=6021 would help with this.

Ha. I was looking for just such a mod myself a couple weeks ago. Been using this:

Adds candles/stands to vendors that you can drop (place) where you want, activate them to set them up. Once they're set up you can activate them to turn them on/off. They add nice ambiance if you live in a cave like me
