I've been playing console and PC games hardcoe throughout my teenage years. Getting a job meant I had to change my playstyle a little, that being trying to not get svcked in and lose track of the time - and also cutting down on subscription-based games (WoW) and DLC heavy games (anything made by EA). I've never run with a "clan", but did spend about 6 months playing CoD4 with a group of friends from WoW back in '09. I've spent some time renting games to try and find a good one I could play like I want to, and Brink is right up my alley. I seriously didn't expect compelling, team/objective-based gameplay to be integrated so seamlessly.

Right now I have a RL friend I play with on and off, but we're both working and just turned 21. So I have been running solo for the majority of the time thus far. As well, if the lag issues hadn't been hotfixed I was close to giving up on Brink's online gameplay.

As far as Class/Rank goes: I'm working on hitting rank 5 on my soldier (mostly played with bots, some online exp for the 20% bonus when I could tolerate the lag). After that I intend on starting up a new character from scratch and speccing into medic or operative.
