Post » Thu Jan 02, 2014 4:19 pm

You can add me on Steam (amaraavail) or kik me (Amara02) I'm really just looking for someone I can ask a million questions :) I could look everything up, but honestly I'm a little too lazy to search through tons of forums :3

I will eventually. Was just looking for a fast way to get answers I needed and possibly making friends too. It gets boring playing alone sometimes.

There you go, I've added you as a friend. You can also check out my character and his new diary if you wish. I've done all the vanilla game and Dawnguard, now I'm starting on Dragonborn. But even after that I still have a great way to go, believe me!

Great :) I bought the legendary edition and have literally started way too many quest in all the major cities lol I'm kinda a slow learner considering I'm used to Call of Duty lol so I'm kinda everywhere at this point and working on getting back on track.

I was all over the place at first too, and that's even after I played Oblivion a couple of years ago!

You mean you're willing to sit in front of a desk and have the accursed keyboard to enslave your mind, with it's one hundred and two keys?

Oblivion is ultra creepy, even with the NPCs looking like potatoes. It's those https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=planes+of+oblivion&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=iGvEUufBC4mqhAfgjoGwDA&sqi=2&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAQ&biw=1097&bih=513 that do it. You'll have PTSD in no time! I'm waiting till Skyblivion comes out before I play it again. "Skyblivion" is a highly modded version of Oblivion that they're making with Skyrim graphics.

By the way, check out the built in map in that TES wiki I linked to. It's great for finding where everything is.

That sounds like it'll be great :) skyrim has some of the best graphics I've seen on a game in a while.

I'll definitely be using the map a lot lol my illusion spell works great when I'm lost... But that's all the time.

Anyone wanna teach Hagrid some lore?

<<<< Come on, he's lonely. And so intrigued when it comes to the flora of Valenwood.

Only joking, I like discussing lore.

Take a second fish stick! And yes playing alone gets boring sometimes. Btw, @Chadric isn't really accurate about Oblivion's creepiness xD The real cons of Oblivion are the potato heads, levelling and the copely-paste dungeons. But the landscape, towns, plot, magic and DLC are far better than Skyrim. You should try the original Oblivion. (Use mods for faces, sun glare, real lights and All Natural)

About the creepiness: Stay away from the Cheydinal Alchemist Fanola Hlaalu. ;)

Nope... :D

If he gets it like my setup, then it's in the gameroom with a big comfy chair, coffee table, 46" plasma TV and a controller. :twirl:

EDIT :

Oh! Sorry...

OP, I'm glad you joined the forums. :icecream: I hope you find it as great of a place as I have over the years.

However, if you have any question in particular then ask away. Otherwise, the thread will most likely get locked by a moderator by being mistaken for a "hello, I'm here" introduction topic.

I'm looking forward to playing oblivion! I had skyrim for two months before I had enough free time to play lol so oblivion will probably take even longer.
