Looking for a GOOD & EXPERIENCED scripter

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 1:33 am

For some time, I've been writing the concept behind a very large scale mod. I've, unfortunately, absolutely no experience at scripting, and have failed utterly and miserably every time I even tried. I also need people who can design work with AI, people who can create exteriors--as in an entire new world--and people who can do some finite meshing and texturing. I'll also be posting this in the mod section of these forums. My email is smithev5307@yahoo.com Contact me there if you are interested.

Without an outline of some kind, you're not likely to get a favorable response. For instance, what is this "very large scale mod" about? What kind of scripts are you looking for (and what have you tried to do)? What types of meshes/textures (i.e. Statics, Weapons, Armor, Creatures/NPCs)? As far as scripting goes, I recommend you check out the http://www.invision.tesalliance.org/forums/index.php?/forum/15-scripting/ on TES Alliance. I've learned a lot about scripting from them. You can also find classes on http://www.invision.tesalliance.org/forums/index.php?/forum/13-worldbuilding/, http://www.invision.tesalliance.org/forums/index.php?/forum/19-modeling/, http://www.invision.tesalliance.org/forums/index.php?/forum/18-texturing/ and many other subjects. You can also ask for additional tips from other members there (just ask around-Insanity Sorrow is does a lot of texturing & WillieSea is very good at scripting).

not trying to sound rude but the way i read this was "I need other people to do pretty much all the work for me but then still give myself most of the credit for the mod just because i had the original idea for it."

seriously, i may have little experience but i would expect the owner should contribute something
