Looking for Guinea Pigs/Very Early Testers

Post » Tue May 03, 2011 7:50 am

Hey everyone.

As the topic line says, I'm looking for people who would be willing to test out a very crucial feature of a Mod I am working on -- the issue is that, right now, the Mod is a LONG way from completion and basically only has this Feature employed. Because it is important, however, I need to know it is working perfectly. For me, it seems to be right now, but it would be really grateful if anyone would be willing to help test it properly.

I'd rather not say more publicly right now-- most of you will know how I have a habit of getting really excited about ideas, then finding they don't work right, or I can't pull them off, so I don't want to risk getting anyone's hopes up-- but if anyone would like more information, I would be happy to supply it via PM; if anyone is interested in helping, could they please PM me?

Thanks in advance to anyone interested :D

Isn't there a Testers Guild on TESAlliance? Perhaps they might be able to help in case you don't get takers here. :)

Good luck with your mod - :goodjob:

No one's going to volunteer without knowing what it is they're volunteering for, or at leat they'll be kinda dumb to do so. Please, tell us what it is you're asking us to instal in our games.

This is the Beta Testing and anolysis Guild on TES Alliance: http://tesalliance.org/forums/index.php?/forum/77-the-bta-guild/

Guess what they specialize in doing? :P And they are discreet. Only the testers will see the thread for your mod and have access to the mod itself so you don't have to worry about it percolating through the community. LOL I've used BTA members to test all my mods and they've been professional and fantastic. I highly recommend.

That's certainly somewhat true :( The issue is, as I've said, I have a habit of over-aiming with my Mods, and coming up with alsorts of amazing-sounding ideas that I just can't do :( Then I have to abandon the project, and look disinterested :(

Thanks for the suggestions, on the TESA Guild :) May be worth checking out ;)
