Looking for a house mod.

I am starting another game of FO3 and am looking for a good house mod that fits my style of play. I finished a character a few months ago and used http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=9592 and thought it was near perfect. However, I didn't really like the location.

What I am looking for:

One of the things I enjoyed about UH was the ability to collect weapons and a wall to display them on. The ability to collect ammo and display my stockpile was nice as well.

I don't need it companion friendly, but it would be nice if it was. It would be an even bigger plus if I could send companions to my house when I didn't want to travel with them.

I prefer the house be located around Megatown. I have had my house base around Canterbury Commons and Rivet City before and this time I would like to work out of Megatown. Where you base your operations out of really dictates the game. No matter where the house is, it needs to be close to stores or at least be on the caravan route.

I prefer that the house isn't pre-stocked. A few minor items, or a special weapon here or there are OK, but I prefer to stock the house myself.

Basically, I am looking for a "collector's" house/base in a good location. I have looked through "nexus" and have seen a lot of good houses, but am not sure if they will fit my needs, that is why I am resorting to you fine folks on the forum. It is pretty tedious to download...check them out...decide they are just not right....repeat.

Anyway, I hope people have experimented with different places and can point me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance.

It would be quite trivial to open it with GECK and move the outside door to where you'd want it to be.

I have never used GECK, but I think it might be a little more complicated as you might think. Underground Hideout has numerous above ground features as well.

I'm experimenting with a few mods I've found and seeing how they work for me....some pros, some cons.

So what? From what I understand you only care about the location of the hideout itself. So place a hatch somewhere near Megaton, and link it to the UH exit door, it's a simple interior-exterior doors linking operation.

Read this http://geck.gamesas.com/index.php/gamesas_Tutorial_Finalize_and_Connect if you want to learn how to do it.
