I'm looking for a lot of mods.

To fix bugs, improve gameplay, add new elements, new challenges, increase the graphical quality, and overall increase the replay-ability of this game.

The more good mods you can find that will work together without conflicting the more I will love you for helping me.

Not aimed at you specifically.
But I hate it when I see someone asking for some mods and someone else just links them to the nexus.

Pretty sure everyone knows about the nexus, they are asking for specific mods and your recommendations, if they don't know about the the nexus introcleuce them to it by showing them a mid on it instead if just lining them to it.

I know about the nexus, but I don't know what mods are good or not and I don't have the time to test all them.

I just want simple opinions and recommendations about what mods you would use to make the game better.

Use your brain and find them yourself.... We don't know EXACTLY what you want or EXACTLY what will work best for you, we would just be posting tons of links

What is a good mod and what isn't is almost entirely subjective so it's pretty useless for people to just post a ton of links. If you can be more detailed and descriptive about the types of things you are looking for, then people will be more likely to share some of their favorite mods.

So, let me ask you a few questions:

Are you looking for tougher enemies, more enemies, more quests, do you prefer mindlessly shooting or do you like to play things that make you use your brain too, do you want to join the enclave, do you want to make your own ammo, do you want to make anyone your follower, do you want more citizens in the towns, are you looking for a new house, do you want Dogmeat to be a different color, do you want My Little Pony on your Pipboy screen, do you want to need to sleep, eat and drink to survive, do you want to watch yourself sleep, do you need new chems to take, do you want to extend your slavery career, etc etc etc?

I just want... More.

Like I've found something Marts Mutant Mod, which I think I'll like.
And more choice, an Enclave mod would be cool
And defenitly more quests.
do you want My Little Pony on your Pipboy screen
Is there really a mod for this?

Ok, that makes it a little easier :)

There are two main Enclave quest mods: http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=11351 can be played with a regular game but http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=11587 replaces the Main Quest of FO3. I've played them both and would recommend them to anyone.

Quest mods:

http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=13308 expands on Trouble on the Homefront, introducing new quests and allowing you to live in the vault again if you want.
http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/modules/members/index.php?id=137055 has several excellent quest mods. In the Shadow of the Swamp is my personal favorite.
http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=8747- Even if you don't like Zeta, this is a fantastic mod. You'll become the head of a new faction, have beautiful accomodations aboard Mothership Zeta and your people will be deployed to various spots across the wasteland.
http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=10779 - introduces new lands to explore and a couple new followers

More stuff:

http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=5573 - Ever wondered what's inside all those boarded up buildings out there? Now you can find out.
http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=2761 - Hugely popular overhaul that makes the game a bit harsher and more of a struggle for survival.
Love robots? You need http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=712.
Want to do missions for the Regulators? Grab http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=15645.

I'm looking for mods compatible with my current mods, are the ones you suggested?

Energy Visuals Enhance, Mart Mutant Mod, Appocolypse Armory, Weapons Mod Kits, and DC interiors.

All the mods ghoulsrpeople2 mentioned are compatible with the ones you have. However, you will have to go to the FOIP for patches for FWE to run with the mods you have, but it is worth it.
Another good one is a new one, it can be found here: http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=17418. From what I have read, it replaces Fellout and Fellout is awesome.
To complement DC Interiors, check out this: http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=17399. Very well done addition to the interiors of the buildings near the Nuka Cola plant.

As M48A5 said, you should be able to get those mods running fairly smoothly together provided you have the right patches. The FOIP patch page is http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=4968. Read the readmes for your various mods carefully to ensure you have all of the right files and use http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=10193 to sort them into the right order.

So all these work together except I need a patch for FWE to work?

Time to get to murderin' my 90kb/s download rate internet and play "New" Fallout 3.

Edit:
Shoul I keep project reality or remove it and install Fellout + Dynamic Weather?

Using Fellout + Dynamic Weather will just overwrite one or the other. IMO Dynamic Weather is miles ahead of Fellout and DW covers the DLC while Fellout and Project Reality don't. DW is just far more comprehensive. You will need resources and a couple of plugins from http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=6170 in order for rain to work in Dynamic Weather, it's all in the ReadMe for Dynamic Weather - Rain. Honestly I never saw the benefit of using Fellout + DW together.

Impervious Power Armor will work fine with other mods even Powered Power Armor.

EDIT: You can use a fair bit of these together, just not Arwen's and FWE as they will conflict. While Arwen's may not have all the extra content FWE does, it is more brutal than FWE.

So does Dynamic Weather do the color change thing too?

I don't like the super green tint and want the mire black and white-ish looking Fellout/project Reality gives you.

Also does DW still provide radioactive rain sometimes?

Yes Dynamic Weather removes the green tint, there's a optional plugin for a "weather machine" that allows you have a preset which makes all weather types "clean". No radiation, no pollution. While the overall coloring isn't like PR with the black and white-ish as you described, it also isn't fantasy neon land either and looks quite nice. Even though screenshots don't do much justice you'll just may have to compare some.

There is an optional plugin from Enhanced Weather (remember it's required if you want rain with Dynamic Weather) that allows for radioactive rain. Unfortunately it makes all the rain radioactive and not just certain types. Quite frankly radioactive rain or storms and any nuclear winter weather make little sense 200 years after a nuclear war, just my opinion.

Regarding opinions, it was my own that I felt Dynamic Weather was better, you ultimately may not feel the same.

I'm getting an error that I could only fix by reinstalling. It happens when I have CALBR and eXcalbr installed together, when I launch the game it would crash to desktop, not even deactivating the data files through FoMM would fix it.

Any help?

In essence, it's just the latest FWE + MMM + FO3 Redesigned. Junktown is there just for the house, Mantis Labs for the new monsters, Despicable Dashwood for hilarity, Rat Trap for 2 followers, and Mothership Zeta Crew for I don't know why, but it was spoken well of so I downloaded it. Also, Project Reality is a weather system, tint remover, and radioactive storm alert all in one.

Edit:
Comrade Dispenser, maybe those two mods had special uninstall instructions. FO3 crashing on startup sounds like a missing master file.

It's not the fact that I need to uninstall them, it's that they're not working in the first place.

Having them installed is what causes it to crash, and other combo of mods work but as soon those two touch it it flips its [censored].

Well, back after a year (mostly because I was too lazy to do the full re-install I needed to do :/) and instead of starting a new thread I'll ask here since it could benifit the OP as well. Would I gain any benifit from installing Wrye Bash or will the FO3 Edit I'm using do the same thing as far as doing a merged patch? I do remember doing some installs with Wrye Bash (if memory serves correctly), but so far FOMM seems to be doing the job on most and I just manually install the rest.
