Hi everyone, I've been away from OB for a long time, and I recently got back into it.

I don't tend to play female characters and I've been having real trouble finding some decent armor (and clothing, but mostly armor) for my character. By decent I mean something that doesn't look trashy, cheap and tasteless and doesn't make my character look like a stripper or something that fell out of an anime.

I'm currently playing a Dunmer thief / assassin, http://img215.imageshack.us/img215/5243/oblivion201107281520412.png so you can get a general idea of what I'm looking for. So, something that's not extremely over-the-top or incredibly bulky. Though I will start a new character soon, so it doesn't have to be this style or for a stealthy character. I just need something that fits into the game and makes me take my character seriously. I've tried searching and I've looked through this forum but didn't find anything, so I apologize if there's a thread like this, I really haven't seen one.


I'm hoping someone could give me some suggestions. Thanks in advance.

They're excel files, so you need office/openoffice, and is simply an alphabetical list of mods by name, some of which aren't exceptionally helpful at understanding what type of armor or clothes the mod may contain, but it IS a completely list of all the male armor and clothes available on Nexus as of about 4 months ago.

Well... that's depressing. The amount of lore-friendly, decent-looking armor that isn't just a plain retexture is incredibly low. With my long absence, I thought the selection must be way bigger by now. Almost makes me want to model and texture the things myself.

I did find a couple of mods that interest me, though. Thank you for the help.
