[RELz] looking for new heavy armor?

having collected all your armours, I dlded this one too Lancillotto.

I ve just started checking the mod and I was also stuck searching for the b***** key :banghead:


I 'll keep you posted in case I encounter conflicts or other issues,

Great looking mods. One question about the armor mods. Are they overpowered at all? That is what i'm afraid of when i download armor mods. I don't want armor that is going to make me unbeatable. Thanks.

I identified a small landscape conflict in Armageddon Lancillotto:

Sonia's house in Leyawiin overlaps with a burned down shop called "Scribe Services", which is a location part added by another quest mod.
Funny thing is I cannot recall which mod added this shop in my game :rolleyes: , it should be either "Tears of the Fiend" by Simyaz or "Gates to Aesgaard" by Priest.

Anyway, I had to disable the house (kept just the door activator) cause otherwise, access to the shop is not possible, two buildings are on top of each other.

Would it be too much asking you to remove the house to the opposite side (180 degrees) of that space?

Hi the link for your armageddon mod sent me here. I am trying your mod but have run into a complication. The first quest for Sir Caius's misplaced key, looked all around and the stable but can't find it. movetoqt does not do anything either. Is the key inside or outside somewhere.

I have been asked this more than just once so I will add the solution to this part of the quest in my "tricks and tips" section of the readme file. As already suggested the key can be found under a book in Caius' room.



Great job on Armageddon. :D Though 2 problems. #1 sir Caius was still in his room when he was "gone". #2 I couldn't enter the cave to get
thing to kill the boss. (I forgot his name) Still great job!


Yes... Sir Caius sometimes remains in his room but I could not figure out why... his scripts doesn't always work and I wonder if this is related to a conflict with a script from another mod. I will try to figure this out but if somebody knows the solution is welcome to post it.
As for the cave... you probably tried to enter the wrong way. There are two doors to get into that cave, but one is blocked by boulders (didn't you notice them fall when you approach that entrance?). So you just have to look for the other entrance on the opposite side of the hill.

I'm having a problem with the secoond quest. every time i go into the temples crypts or whatever the rats arent there. i cant complete the quest if there are no rats there for me to kill. please HELP!!!


this is strange.... I have never experienced this problem. The rats should be there, are you sure to have the latest Oblivion patch installed?

I will see to figure out what the problem might be.

The armors are not overpowered, they are just slightly superior to daedric armor (just a couple of points above). They will not make you unbeatable at all, do not worry about that, e.g., once I have been killed by two ogres at level 40 even if I was wearing my Templar armor.

One more possible conflict ( should be confirmed by somebody who has installed "Blood & Mud" mod together with Armageddon) might occur with your Orc's house SW of Bravil. I recall Blood & Mud located a castle somewhere there, south of Bravil but I uninstalled the specific mod so I cannot confirm any possible landscape conflicts...

chk also the two floating chests in Fort Icewind (in front of the door to the Forts interior)

these are the only minor details I was able to identify so far in a carefully designed, well executed and thoroughly enjoyable armour / quest mod Lancillotto.

it seems to me when i went and talked to the abbot at the temple the quest never activated from there. he gave me the key to the crypt but it never updated the quest infop to say that he gave me the key and that i should go kill the rats or whatever. i really want to do your quest line so if you could find out whats wrong id be grateful.

I too seem to have run into a problem. The quest with the dead monk. I went back to the monestary and talked to the head guy but I can't figure out what to do now. I thought I might have to look at the dead monk's body but I couldn't find it anywhere. Any ideas?

If I recall correctly, you 'll get an update after you ve killed all the rats in the crypt

If you talk about the 1st dead monk, his body should be lying by the abbot (head guy :P ).

That needs some searching from your part. Could be a mod conflict issue, a mod loading order issue, even a mod reset might help you solve the problem.

You should kill the rats to get the update.

The dead monk should be in the chapel, next to the altar.

I still have to check this, but as equi wrote it actually might be a conflict with some other mod, cause you are apparently the only one to experience this... what is the name of the crypt when you play? I wonder if you are sent to a different cell... above you wrote "temples crypts" but actually that should not be the name of my cell.

Redownloading it didnt work. For some reason the rats just arent there. I am only using like 15 mods for oblivion none of which i imagine would conflict with that mod. im fully patched and its installed correctly but it just dont seem to work. oh well ill have to just use the apprentice armor.

i have trie reinstalling it andreloadin it and ive started th ques line over like 4 times. the rats or not there. maybe its a bad download. ill redownload it then reinstall it and then hopefully the rats will be there. i have the lastest patch as well


mmm.... and what about the name of the cell where the rats should be? In other words, what name appears when you approach the door to the crypt in the monastery?

nope. i have natural weather and then a few random quest mods and a few that add weapons or castles. besides a blood mod i hae nothing that modifies the originakl script
