LANCILLOTTO'S HEAVY ARMORS

Hello, I am a lover of heavy armors but I was a little bit disappointed by the few available ones... so I decided to make some new sets that should meet the taste of almost every kind of heavy-armored character, from paladins to nasty knights and warriors.

You can find them (screenshots and files) clicking on the following links:

For the ones who feel Black Knights inside
http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=OblivionMods.Detail&id=3430
the Russian translation of Dark Legion is available http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=19097 Many thanks to Bronod for the translation.

For the ones who like Paladins
http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=OblivionMods.Detail&id=3454
the Russian translation of The Doomed King is available http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=19073 Many thanks to Bronod for the translation.

For the ones who enjoy to be nasty and brutal Warriors
http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=OblivionMods.Detail&id=3484
the Russian translation of The Butcher is available http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=19077 Once again, many thanks to Bronod for the translation.

For the dark elves who are nostalgic of Morrowind
http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=OblivionMods.Detail&id=4725
the Japanese translation of Battle for Morrowind should be available http://oblivion.z49.org/logs/main/1236163112.html.gz#788 Many thanks to nek-12 for the localization.

For the ones who wish to be a god's champion: http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=OblivionMods.Detail&id=3604
and the latter also has a matching armored steed! http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=OblivionMods.Detail&id=3644

Every armor is linked to a little bit of contextualization (you will not find them in shops!).
I hope you will find something that fits you well...

And http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=OblivionMods.Detail&id=213487&id=4358 you can download Armageddon (v1.8), it's a quest that will deal with Templars, Teutonic Knights and... the end of the world! In it you will find four new armor sets, two new shields, three new swords and a lot of adventures! NOW WITH FULL VOICE ACTING! :D

A SCREENSHOTS-TRAILER OF ARMAGEDDON IS AVAILABE http://it.youtube.com/watch?v=DrByq_eAcPg&feature=related DO NOT MISS IT!! :)

The Polish translation of Armageddon is available http://www.elderscrolls.com.pl/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=299
Many thanks to TomBrightblade who did an amazing job for the Polish localization!

The Russian translation of Armageddon can be downloaded http://mtes.ru/obliv_kvests.html#armageddon
Thanks a lot to Diablo666, Redguard TJ, stazzzy, bro_nod, and Spindle for the localization!

Cheers,

Lancillotto

Great work! I love 'The Butcher', cool armor. You forgot to put a [REL] in front of your topic title. Right now it sounds as if a new player is looking for heavy armor links if you don't read the subtitle.

I just noticed this release (Dark Legion) and don't recall being notified that it was released as requested in the Lost Paladins readme. But then again, with my memory, it's possible you told me about it when you were in the design phase. ;)

Anyways, just wanted to clarify the mistakes in your readme file (no, not all the grammar and spelling problems).

Your credits reads as follows:
Thanks to 'JayDac' and 'LHammonds'(alias 'Jerros' and 'Conan_n') for cretaing that spectacular mod that is 'Lost Paladines of the Divines', the shield and gauntlets from their mod have been included into this mod, as well as some of their textures.
Thanks to L@zarus for creating the mesh of the shield.

- "Conan_n" is actually "Conan_Lon"
- The shield model was created by L@zarus, the texture artwork was by Jerros and the raised 3D emblem of the artwork on the shield was by EuGENIUS.

The mod looks pretty nice. I look forward to your future creations as well.

Hi. Not sure if I'm in the right place, but I commented on the PlanetElderScrolls site (re: Arkay's Champion) that I was hit by an 'Arak Shaman Spell3' (damage fatigue 247) immediately upon loading the game, and that I'd try loading in another location. Sorry to report that the problem persisted when I loaded in Leyawiin. Dropped over like a ton of bricks, never to arise. Fatigue damaged irrepairably. *shrugs* I'll leave it in your capable hands. Screens look fantastic, I'm just sorry I can't play this mod. I do have a list of active mods as long as my arm... but yeah, good luck figuring that one out lol.

Cheers.

These look really, really cool!

Is there any chance of releasing them all in one pack?

I will try to figure your problem out, but I need to know a couple of things first:
Is your version a localized one?
Do you have many mods installed? Your problem could be due to some incompatibility issue.

I was thinking about that, my only concerns are that the resulting file would be pretty large (unless I compress everything with OMM in a BSA file, but I have not figured how that thing works yet) and that maybe people prefer to download just the armors they are really interested in.

Nice armors - I've downloaded them all.

I do have one suggestion, however; how about naming the zip files [that are downloaded] something relevant to the armor itself rather than just "data"? I've just downloaded data.zip, data(2).zip, data(3).zip and data(4).zip ... I wonder what each one is? Who knows. I can rename them myself, of course, but if they were named appropriately to begin with I wouldn't have to.

I'm not sure. Purchased in Australia. My first guess would be that it's a US version, though I have no evidence of that. Certainly a version in English. How can I find out?

And yes, I have a list of active mods as long as my arm. I'll list them if you want to look more closely at it.

Just look at the name of the esp file to find out which is which. However, I will probably follow your suggestion in my next updates. It was just easier to tell people how to install my mods if there is just a data folder (some could copy the whole folder, let's say "The Butcher" into the Oblivion data folder, resulting in a total mess, no meshes would appear ingame!).

adds new creatures too? did you you add them to a unique lvl list so that it doest conflict withother creature adding mods?

My new creatures are not leveled, this because I noted that leveling them usually does not work very well at all levels, if your character is especially high in level (like 40) you can get invincible creatures! I do not know if this is a bug of the CS. Moreover I like to see how a creature that was a pain in the a** at first turns out to be weaker while you level up. I think that this is the joy of leveling up, so that you can take revenge upon your opponents! :)
And of course they all have unique IDs.

Hi again. I just thought I'd drop by and mention that after de-activating um, *cough* about 25 mods lol, I re-entered Tamriel and WHAM! I got hit by the same thing. BUT! This time, after waiting 12 hours, (just a random number I picked) I got up off the ground! Yay! Okay, SAVE RETHSKA! And exit. Re-entered, and YES! No problem. No fatigue damage, and I am on my happy way. :-D

I'll comment a little more positively on the planet elder scrolls page once I've completed the mod. So yeah, no enduring problem this time. Phew!

My advise would be to release your newest work as you finish it and then, when you think you're finished with your current work, do a merged collection. Your original armors would still be available as separate downloads for those who want to pick and choose but others would have the additional option of one unified download. I think there will be enough interest in a merged mod to justify it.

All of these look phenomenal, by the way, Lancillotto. Very, very nice work!

Okay, I won't comment yet. A couple of problems...

You know the Arak Shaman Spell3? Well, it has replaced my 'Beast of Burden' spell, yep, the big feather one, so now, as Borissean definitely doesn't have a replacement, it's clear this mod has cancelled it, and in it's place... you guessed it, Arak Shaman Spell3 only now it's damage health 50 and damage fatigue 50... almost pointless at level 51. (Dunno if it matters but it was in quickspell slot 6.)

The other problem is that the shield is transparent in 3rd person view. Not that I play that way, but just FYI.

:-)

Received your email. A lot of things in the email were blocked (by vista) but yeah, you can give it a try (Maybe post it here for me only though lol). I couldn't reply.

I'd like to enchant this armour and use it, but as per the message above, I'm on the verge of deactivating it because of the loss of Beasts of Burden.

Wow, these look excellent! I have noticed an abundance of light armors, but not too terribly many heavy armors around the modding community. Thanks for your top-notch skills!
