I am planning on getting the game soon, and just wondering what a good class is to get used to the game,
I am a big fan of Khajiit and Argonians in Oblivion, so any class ideas that prioritize these races would be best, but I'm open to all suggestions.

For Kahjiits? Assassins or Nightblades. And once you get a hang of what different skills you like blend them together to make something unique. I never use pre-made classes anymore.

For Argonians, Mages are fun, But my favorite has to be a custom class called Dragoon. Give them the following

Major:
Spear
Heavy Armor
Long Blade
Block
Marksman

Minor:
Medium Armor
Blunt Weapon
Athletics
Restoration
Shortblade

I like acrobats. Though you need them to be really high strength, you can open the construction set and scroll down to skills and change acrobatics to agility and save it as a mod. You still need strength tho. I loved my Argonian warrior. She had a Dwarven claymore and it looked mean.

I would play her again except she had briasts and at the time I did not think of her as a reptile. Then a mod gave me the option of having briasts on my Argonian female. My brain got broken then and I can't play Argonians without some conclusion.

Making a custom class might be a good option for you; that's how I was when I began. I made custom classes where I could emphasize the skills I was most comfortable with.

Later on, when I either exploited glitches to max out my stats (or would just console them to max on PC), I would pick a class based on how the class' title and description suited me. I'm usually a crusader or a knight these days, simply because I like how the pre-made class is depicted and described.

If I could choose a graphic for my class and write a description of it on the Xbox, I'd still go custom. For serious gaming, it's the only real way to go.

These ideas are quite awesome,will take them into consideration thanks.
