I could've sworn there was an existing icon showing Vault Boy as kind of a mad scientist with crazy Einstein hair, but I can't seem to find it now. It may have been from an earlier Fallout game. I was hoping to use it as a base for a new perk icon.

I think I remember, it's from the GOAT. The slide that goes with Question 1: You are approached by a frenzied vault scientist, who yells, "I'm going to put my quantum harmonizer in your photonic resonation chamber!" What's your response?

Ah, I think you're right (http://stashbox.org/952389/loading_goatslide01.jpg). Vault Boy is not the scientist, but I think that's where my recollection was coming from. I might still try to work from that, or maybe just the http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Science.

If you open the textures BSA there is something called I think Slides01 or something similiar. It contains slides for questions 1-8 in the goat exam, so you can copy and past the mad scientist one over and use that.

I posted the exact path and filename above. It's textures\interface\loading\loading_goatslide01.dds for this particular slide. But if he's gonna use it he's gonna need to crop out all but the mad scientist.

...and it also should've been clear that I had already found it myself, since I posted an image of it...
