Time to check out those submissions.

So how is this mod coming along? i''m really looking forward to it.

It's coming along great! There will be a WIP thread posted when enough of the project's modules will be released.

@ Koops-64 : Thanks! You are shipped to Bruma. :D

@ Mitchman : Heh, love that one. :)

Name: Colonel Narses Belisarius
Famous For: Defeating the army of the rebel Dunmer Gurkin the Cruel, and destroying the powerful armies of the first Marauder Triad. Also a member of the Blades. A war hero, really.
Date of birth and death: Whenever you want-mid to late Empire is good for me.
City: Either Cheydinhal (closest city he was stationed to at the time of his death). But really, wherever you please.
Epitaph: "Lest I be given the order my lord, allow me not to yield the field to thine foe."

I love it.

Name: Gnorlis the Black
Date of Brith and Death: W/E
Famous For: His bright red beard, bright red hair, bright red vest, bright red shoes, and bright red house.
Epitaph: Unfortunately, that red blended right in with the lava that burned him black.

Haha! Yes, I'll put this one for the laughs.

Name: Rorkin the Bitsy
Date of Bith/Death: W/e
Famous For: Discovering explosive powder
Epitaph: A brilliant man who enjoyed inventing new, wonderful things for the world enjoy. It would have been better, however, if he had not lived next door to the Pyromancer's Guild.

Hmm explosive powder doesn't exist in Cyrodiil though. I'm afraid, but great entry. :)

Name: Calessia Manypiece
Date of Birth/Death: W/e
Famous For: The first person to tame dragons in all of Cyrodiil, and beginning its first Circus
Epitaph:
A beautiful woman who was well named,
Touring the land with dragons she tamed,
One of whom was quite vicious,
He told her she was quite delicious.
She smiled real pretty and gave him a laugh,
We felt so bad we could only bury this half.

Not serious enough, I'm afraid, and against the Lore. But you made me spill my coffee. Thanks! :D

@ Hunter Parasite : Your body will be buried! Thanks!

@ DemonsShade : Comical it is indeed and it's semi-serious, thanks for the submission!

@Daedra__: I'm afraid the characters who are buried are not to be associated with any of the game's quests. But thank you for your submission. :)

@Barihawk: Excellent! Yes I'll change the years since Oblivion takes place in 3E 433.

@Cobb: Nice submission. Thank you!

@Mitchman: Hehe, thanks for the submission. He'll be in Anvil.

@Dakorma: Good character, I'll change the epitaph, obviously. :P

Thanks to everyone who submitted. I'm getting close to the number of corpses I need replaced.
Also, since I'm getting closer to the number of bodies, know that your character may not be in the city you want him/her buried as the associated cathedral undercroft may be full. So the city is subject to be changed.

Do they have to be heroes?

This is actually the mother of one of my characters:

Name: Adrienne Demarr (Breton)
Date of Birth: 3E 341
Date of Death: 3E 383
Famous for: She was a slave to a powerful vampire, but escaped and told the militia of his hideout. Unfortunately the vampire escaped and took his revenge 19 years later. She also rised a daughter whose father she never talked about, although people thought the girl was a little odd, as she seemed to prefer shadows and the night over a sunny day...
Epitaph: "I'm sorry I could not be there in time, mother, but that monster will never hurt anyone again. In love, Jelina."
Buried in: somewhere in Colovia would be perfect.

Yes, my character is 69 at the beginning of Oblivion, although one wouldn't notice it because of her ... special nature.

Name: Tiberias
Race: Breton
Famous for: Discovering the first portal to an Aetherius realm (Think of it as a reverse Oblivion realm: Oblivion realm are pockets of Aether in the Oblivion, Aetherius realm are pockets of Oblivion in the Aether). It teleported only half of him.
City in which you want the character buried: Cheydinhal
Date of birth and death: 3E 402 - 4E 5 (alternatively, if you don't like them dates you can grow some of your own, as long ase they are of the late 3rd Era to early 4th Era cultivar.)
Epitaph: Here lies Tiberias, who will always be in our hearts and tomes. Alas, we found but half your body and we knew but half your name.

Name: Melvar Hlaalu
Race: Dunmer
Famous for: Researching a teleportation spell whch didn't need a Mark component, and could teleport anywhere he pleased. When being chased by some creature, he desperately put his spell to use: He focused on the Leyawiin Chapel Undercroft, and it successfully teleported him - Into a wall.
City in which you want the character buried: Leyawiin (If possible, place his gravestone on a wall somewhere with some cleaned up bloodstains or somesuch. If possible, an arm to come through the stonework.)
Date of birth and death: 3E 358 - 3E 399 (alternatively, if you don't like them dates you can grow some of your own, as long ase they are of the middle 3rd Era to late 4th Era cultivar.)
Epitaph: Rest in peace Melvar, who shall be here with us always. We can feel it in our stones.

Name: Legion General Tertullius Mentor
Race: Imperial-Breton-Nord-Redguard-and allegedly a bit of Wood Elf (The family on his father's side tended to be a bit... Enthusiastic)
Famous for: His aggressive recruitment of soldiers for the legion. He employed various means of recruitment and lowered the recruitment standards (As he famously said: "Recruits! Bah! They're only supposed to be for cannon fodder until we decide to train them!") and so swelled the ranksw of the Legion.
City in which you want the character buried: Anvil (If possible, make his grave poorly built)
Date of birth and death: Sometime early
Epitaph: Here lies Tertullian Mentor, remembered for his high poise, large militia, http://www.vgcats.com/comics/?strip_id=18 and little gratitude.

Name: Quick-of-Claw
Race: Argonian
Famous for: A small-time crook and highwayman on the Island of Vvardenfell. Traveled to Cyrodil with his Ashlander companion following the crisis in the Tribunal Temple. He is believed to be a secret master of the art of the pickpocket, and once successfully pickpocketed Almalexia herself of a prized amulet. Legend says he ransomed it back for a kiss, and henceforth never showed signs of aging and healed quickly from even serious wounds. His dealings with the Ashlander tribes and many suspected political entanglements were never proven.
Epitaph: Thief, pickpocket, and rogue. But richer in life than any king. Always won his bets, and always bought the drinks with the barkeep's septims.
Date of birth and Death: Whenever you like, slightly older age than natural (say, 90). Falling in timeframe before Tribunal, so Almalexia's alive.
City: anywhere, maybe Leyawiin or Bravil.

Jelina Demarr likes to move in the shadows. She's not a truely a thief but usually has connections to the underground communities because they won't ask questions and her greatest fear is that people would find out about her being the daughter of a vampire. After her mother was killed by her father (and Jelina killed him) she usually never stayed in one place for long but still tried to help people where she could, if only to prove to the world (and to herself) that she is not a monster. Often she uses her vampiric gifts to hunt down other vampires.
Her mother, Adrienne, wasn't really anything special in terms of class/profession. She was just a common woman who was captured by the vampires servants and managed to escape after a while and tried to live a normal life afterwards.

Great thanks! That will help me for the writings on the tomb. :)

Well, only 5 corpses left to replace!

After that, all 71 corpses found in the Undercroft will be unique, thanks to your submissions. :D

Maybe i'll try to submit one more then:

You can place him where you need him

Name: Oluf Dagssondur

Name: Hikaru Lyoko Nimizu
Race: Mithra ( You know... that mod that gives the cat-eared race )
Known For: Accidentally opening a gateway to another dimension, from where he destroyed many evil Daedric realms, and returned to Nirn as a hero, but was murdered by his dark corrupted brother Makoto
Birth Date: 3E {About 14 years before the game begins... I can't remember the starting date}
Death: {The date on which the game begins}
Epitaph: "He was just a hope of Destiny, his memories scattered to the winds of Fate when he was betrayed, and no man is truly bound by the strands of Destiny's wheel"
To Be Buried: Bruma, Or even in Cloud Ruler Temple {I really like the cold mountainous regions of the game... espeically with the Snow Dragon Temple Mod}

Yeah... kinda like my character, I embellished it a bit to make it seem more surreal and there are other dimensions in the Elder Scrolls universe remember and not all of them are daedric planes...

This could have made for a funny thread-but as the mod is filled, so the thread must close.

Here's two slightly humorous ones, inspired partly by Calessia Manypiece. I hope you like it:

Name: Troia Honeytongue
Race: Breton
Famous For: The loveliest "companion" of any Imperial citizen, male or female
Epitaph:
Daedra great lovers do not make,
For their bloodlust does not slake.
Believing this a miracle done,
Troia sought a handsome one.
And when this Daedra she did find,
He kissed her cheek and broke her spine.

Name: Yalandra Lowstakes
Race: Imperial
Famous For: Her love of the "Bad boy"
Epitaph:
A man hooded did catch her eye,
On his black lips a look most sly.
Dancing her waltz of carnal lust,
He placed in her an innocent trust.
She was shocked when his hood did fall,
Lucien Lachance can find us all.

Of course you'll be in the credits, along with the character name you've submitted. :)

But I can't take Chuck Noris... for obvious reasons. :P

Thank you very much for this entry. Will work like a charm.

Nice entry! But it contradicts Lore too much, I regret. The fact that this hero managed to travel to other realms and die so soon before the game begins would mean he would be the talk of the scholars and have his name written in books.

This could have made for a funny thread-but as the mod is filled, so the thread must close.

Troia is great. It's semi serious and thus, it fits. The problem, though, is that I can't write epitaphs that way in-game. It's only one long line. Should you find a shorter epitaph, that would be great.

Name: Yalandra Lowstakes
Race: Imperial
Famous For: Her love of the "Bad boy"

Haha! Very creative epitaph, but I won't add her. The mention of Lucien Lachance and her Famous For would not fit someone buried in an Undercroft. :P

don't know if you've already got enough, maybe room for a special addition?

Name: Quarn'und Kivan
Famous For: Removing chaos and corruption from a flawed system
Location: Ancestor Moth Crypt?
Date of Birth/Death: (not sure what it should be... probably really short?)
Epitaph: sanity and many a mouse were sacrificed, through selfless deeds, a greater balance was restored

Seems like I need to go do my math classes..., I completely messed up the number of bodies I had. :P

I now have 15 spaces left! I was sure I was full, but seems like I wasn't.
The following undercrofts need bodies:

Leyawiin: 6 spaces
Bruma: 3 spaces
Chorrol: 1 space
Cheydinhal: 5 spaces

I have also a lot of space left for the Ancestor Moth's crypts for those of you with character ideas who served the Order. (No criminals, mages, knights and the likes in there. :P They are only blind and not-blind priests.) (Thanks NZdawghaus for reminding me there are corpses there).

don't know if you've already got enough, maybe room for a special addition?
