Looking to get into PC Gaming Again.

If you have the extra three hundred pounds to have someone put it together for you, then that is fine.

If you would like to save money though, each part you get comes with detailed instructions and there are thousands of tutorials and help videos online to get you into building a PC correctly. Hardware companies know that many consumers of recent-gen hardware are building computers/upgrading themselves, and most come with very detailed instructions with chat support, etc.

Besides even if you get pre-built, you will need to learn how to build a computer soon thereafter anyway if you want your PC to stay relevant for longer than 3 years, otherwise you are wasting a huge chunk of money.

Some of my parts are over 4 years old yet my computer is very high end, knowing what needs to be swapped in and out on a short timeline or what other components can be used until they die, can be a huge money saver.

Getting a pre-built gaming PC is just stalling whatever learning you will need to do anyway if you plan to stick with PC gaming for longer than a couple years. Better now than an empty wallet later. ;)

And on a side note, you should be knowledged about PC's in case of hardware issues down the road.

My older PC from 2006 - 2010, had several issues with it. It had liquid cooling failure, video card failure, RAM failure, and Power Supply failure.

Knowing how exactly to deal with problems on your computer will save you even more money, will keep the downtime of your PC lower, and you will feel very accomplished when you know its fixed (or when you build a pc and it boots up correctly first try no errors).

If you need any help on how to build a PC or need help on what component to purchase, don't be afraid to PM me, I can help you out. :)

Thanks for all the suggestions guys even though coming back to PC gaming from an age were you just popped it in and installed lol (Quake 3) I have to say its pretty daunting since technically I am a new player in terms of modern PCs but realistically I think il just be looking for a pre built computer because i wouldnt want to attempt to build a PC especially since theres so many different variables.

ive built a normal PC before but not a gaming rig so il buy a custom made one from overclockers, since they basically "tune"your computer to squeeze out the all the machines power. sounds good to me!

But thanks anyway, appreciatted (but you people do speak a whole other language haha)
PUT YOUR COMPUTER TOGETHER YOURSELF GOT DAMN IT.

Ya I agree with the other guys, build your pc yourself, I had to buy mine back in december and am already regretting it. It would have been my first build if I had built it, but my parents said I couldn't since the house was already such a mess.

@ T4S KR4KKEN

Or go to your local Computer Store and let them build your own config...
But if you really want to get back into Pc gaming... its really worth to get yourself used to some hardwareknowledge..
For example buy a PC game mag and check out the hardware toplists... Thats how i started to get myself ready to build my rig.. back in the days.
