I want to get Crysis for the PC (The screenshots I've seen are WTF amazing..) but I'm not sure which to start with.

For starters, Crysis 1 gameplay vids and screenshots look 10x better than Crysis 2 and 3..why is this? Am I mistaken? A buddy told me that Crysis 1 looks like 100 times better..I don't understand how the graphics could get worse as the game franchise went on? Is that more personal preference? So should I start with 1, 2, or 3? Also, why is Crysis 1 and 2 on Steam, but not Crysis 3? That's confusing.

I hate to say it vut its because they put it on the console also this series died for me for what they did to nomad. There still good games and look great so ya play them. They used to call me prophet remember me.

First one is great, but it always takes me a few hours to get the hang of the controls again coming back from a different game (I use a 360 controller when supported by games on my PC). They are a little clunky...not bad, just different.

Second one looks fine as far as I'm concerned, people who moan about it being held back by consoles, in my opinon, just use that as an excuse to whine about something.

Haven't played the third. As to why it isn't on Steam, EA wants it only available via Orgin which is their own service. No thanks, EA.

The first is easily the best. Go with that one, and if you like it, try the others. It still looks terrific, and it should be fairly inexpensive at this point.
