Looks like Bethesda is going Next-Gen.

From looking at the job listings, it seems like Bethesda is finally going to leave the current-gen behind. Imagine a next-gen Elder Scrolls.

Their job postings have mentioned "next-gen" for quite a while now, which is why some people thought Skyrim won't come out until the next generation. So this really isn't anything new.

They are still hiring. Some say "Future Next-generation" some don't.

Well I would imagine after the 360 caught them off guard completely they would like to make sure they know what they're doing. Although I'm glad because I think Fallout 4 will likely be their first next-gen title, meaning they'll know how to use the hardware come TESVI.

You're right on about being caught off guard with the 360. I don't think anyone in the industry was ready for Microsoft's big push to next-gen. I think that was the biggest leap the gaming industry has ever witnessed and it's hard to see that much of a leap happening again. Where else could we possibly go........... holodecks??
Anyway I think Bethesda is charged and ready to go for the next consoles. :)

something like a holodeck would be awsome for an elder scrolls game. It probably wont be invented for 20-30 years though.
Elder Scrolls X: Provinces, It would be cool except you would probably have to play as yourself though.

That's correct. Bethesda's HR probably just adds that tagline to every job posting they put out.

As for getting caught off guard by the 360, not likely. I am pretty sure they knew about it, but couldn't do anything about it until the actual API and specs were released by MS. The only people who know what's in the actual next-gen consoles, are the engineers working on them at this time.
