Lord Death of Murder Mountain

Is it even feasible to complete this challenge in a normal playthrough without an insane amount of grinding? With my current level 30 character, I went out of my way to maximize my kill count - exploring just about every place on the map (and killing whatever I find), entering every cavern I come across and clearing it of enemies, making multiple trips to places where I know the enemies respawn, and most importantly, leaving kill-stealers like Boone out of my party to make sure that I'm getting them all - and I still have only about 500 of 700 kills needed (bringing it up to around 700 total if you add in the 200 for Lord Death).

I really want to complete this challenge, since I think it has the coolest title ever, but man, it's getting to be a pretty exhausting journey.

Don't fast travel unless you have been through that area within a day or 3 (game time). Don't stay on the roads, just a little off, or trudge through areas you know have lots of baddies.

ED-E is good for the sensor boost, you can see baddies on the HUD further out. Ants and Barkscorpions are plentiful and drop way fast.

I try and not walk back over where i just walked. I think I am at about 500 kills right now and have hit about half the location on the map.

I don't see it as grinding, but the not uses fast travel much can get tedious at times.

Lord Death of Murder Mountain isn't the last kill challenge, the highest kill challenge I got to is, Apocalypse "Ain't" Got "Nothing", which is kill 1000 enemies.

Heck I'm thinking fo doing the game on normal with only ED-E on passive as my companion. This way I get to savor each thud of the super-sledge ;)

I didn't even consider it when I got it. And that's with Boone in my party.

But it would be tough if you just flew through the game on a playthrough.

I think i got to 550-600 kills on my first char before saving it on a thumb drive and starting a new one, a good way to get kills and still get perks from allies is to just have them wait at the Lucky 38 while you go out killing, i did'nt do it for a long time so i don't know if they leave automaticlly after a certain period of time but i went about 3-4 in game days before going back and getting them.
