Lord of Souls: An Elder Scrolls Novel

Very nice cover! Shame we have to wait so long to get it, I'm really looking forward to reading it!
It says in the synopsis the Prince is looking for a magic sword? I wonder if that is Umbra? Would be fitting IMO...

I would assume it's Umbra. Unless he plans on finding a different magic sword to fight that one with, but that doesn't sound very TESish, so probably Umbra.

Magic swords are a dime a dozen anyway. If he were looking for a different one he'd probably end up tripping over Chrysamere within 100 steps. So yeah, probably looking for Umbra.

Kind of cheapens magic sword prophecies when every other weapon has some kind of enchantment on it anyways, doesn't it?

Yep. And then every once in the while some loon gathers up most of the famous ones and puts them into a box in their house.

I'm currently writing a semi-fantasy novel about the internal collapse of a powerful kingdom through civil war.

The title: "To Wither by the Wind"

Is that cliche? I find it cool, I hope others do. Cliche's are easy to avoid if you use a couple hours of brainpower.

And I should say by "writing" I mean I have like 40-50 pages of it on Word and can't go any further due to writer's block and can't possibly edit it once more.

So I wonder, before IC was released there was an excerpt of most of the first chapter. Will they do that for this one? If so, I wonder when.

The first one bored me endlessly, maybe I'll go back and give it another go just before this one comes out so I can read them both. I may yet change my mind.

Sweet! The first book started off a bit slow but I actually enjoyed it a bit. And the cliffhanger made me want to read the next book so much more!

Probably not, I thought that the Infernal City was terrible.

Oooh.. Liking the ominous Umbriel by the Imperial City picture. And loving the depiction of the IC itself.

Looking forward to this for sure. I finally finished the first one just recently.

See, I wonder if it is going through more edits. I liked IC, but there were quite a few basic errors that really should have been caught during the editing process.
