Post » Fri Dec 17, 2010 9:35 am

thanks ^_^ - they will be added to the list soon enough.

i am currently hunting for more but i cant seem to locate these armors:

- Sotha sil amor
- Amelxia armor
- Vivec armor
- 6th House armor

I am sure there are some.

http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=4961

http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=7387

even netch adamantium isn't that far of a stretch for lorists. http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/fms/Image.php?id=10086

Ah, how could I forget!? I love this armor, and it looks and feels lore correct to me. (As long as someone has been smuggling adamantium from the mainland, that is.) :P

you should probably add the official adamantium armor plug-in for those that don't have goty.

here's ghostnull's http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=5011

http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=6760 which makes the regular bonemold cuirass and the armun-am cuirass different.

morrowind advanced adds elite imperial steel armor, and i think light daedric.

there's a dark brotherhood armor replacer which makes it look like oblivion's, which should be lore friendly.

some armors that are close to lore friendly:
i think Jeremy's temple knights armor is fairly lore consistent too, although i don't remember their protection and enchant values.

http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=4982 could be considered lore friendly for nordic armor.

http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=7055 could go with the heavy leather boots.

Wow! There's a lot of good armors that go well! I wonder why Fliggerty's Armor Poject didn't include them.

FAP came out much eariler than many of these.

here's http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=6883 which is lore-friendly finishing up the bound armor slots.

these should be added to level lists!

i think sandman101's HELLUVA armor does that - or at least for some of the completed sets.

Arghhh so many more to add lol, i will get round to adding them all.

the argonian first guard armor

I don't know if that is lore-friendly. It's just armor designed for beast-folk. I doubt the Argonians would actually wear armor like that, it looks bulky and would weigh them down in the swamps of Black Marsh...

this is true, however the author uses a story to fit it into lore. The armor is used not by the army but by units that guard special places and units set into "enemy" territory.

what does everyone else think?

Why is the Tsaesci armor lore correct?

1) The Tsaesci are a race from the elderscrolls world
2) The Dragon scale armor is of Tsaesci design - A design which the Tsaesci armor is based off ;)

bronze

There is no "bronze" metal in TES lore. It's not lore correct.

EDIT: At least none that I know of.

Well, seeing as there isn't anything saying there is, I wouldn't go tagging it as "Lore Correct" for this list.

A quick search at http://search.freefind.com/find.html?id=72791987&pageid=r&mode=ALL&n=0&query=bronze brings up quite a few references to bronze, several of them involving armour. So I would say it's lore-correct.
