Tamriel has its symphonies and orchestras, but the real question is, would a town like Peleagiad have such an extravangence? You could tell the player a lot of things with something like an orchestra, so think carefully about how you use it. Fun features
This is Pelagiad Expanded though, not stock vanilla http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Pelagiad. I should have mentioned that to begin with, as the original Pelagiad is ridiculously small. In the PE link in my signature, in post #119 on page 3, I have an image of the overall size of the expanded town. http://img827.imageshack.us/img827/6149/pelagiadmap.jpg is how big the town is. You can see that exterior building where I am thinking of putting the chamber orchestra. It's where that big blue square is at right by the water fountain. You can see that it's bigger than Ebonheart and Balmora combined.
Hellmouth was saying something renaissance. I have some medieval pieces on my iTunes from this CD I bought years ago called http://www.amazon.com/Sinners-Saints-Ultimate-Renaissance-Collection/dp/B000V6OMRK. I think it would fit very nicely in the Imperial town for the TESIII world. And Pelagiad is very much like Daggerfall, as is what the NPCs say about it.
TESII Daggerfall had lots of different musicians. The book http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Daggerfall:The_Asylum_Ball talks about a huge party with musicians. I'm assuming they had more than just lute players and drums. There are other musicians in Daggerfall, like clarinet players, bag pipe players, flute players. I didn't see any violin players but the focus of TESII wasn't musicianship, but fighting and surviving and magic and politics, much like all the TES games in the series. But I'm willing to bet that violins, cellos and string basses, as well as brass instruments, exist in the TES world. We only see a glimpse of it because Bethesda can't incorporate every single iota of mundane life into a video game. This is just my speculation.
When I said "sink", I really meant a bowl that is elevated on a stand. I'm typing all this at work right now so I can't go into the Construction Set and show you a close-up picture of the sinks but it's the same model that is used in NOM. I'll post a picture tonight after I get home.
Thanks for the suggestions, guys.
