Lore Skill

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 10:19 am

So, if Lore was a TES skill, how high is yours? Mine would probably be in the 30s. I know some areas well, but as a whole, I have a ways to go.

Hmm, I'd think I'd fall in at about the 30-40s.

46...

The poll was sorta confusing, I assume it is asking what question we would most need help with so I choose that one.

Err, no, it's just asking what your skill level would be, the little descriptions are vague "helpers" to better define the different levels, but they may or may not be out of order, it all depends on what people specialize in. Some one who knows everything about CHIM and nothing else isn't really up in the 80s.

Nein, Ich ist der(?) Noob. I know my lore in some areas like Akavir and Dunmer lore, but there are many areas, such as the Nine Devines and all the different Realms, that I know little of.

So who said they made CHIM?

You have a faulty list. Making CHIM should be level 1, not 100. ;) And new theories on CHIM should go around level 0 since it's silly to redefine something that has a perfectly good explanation. ^_^

In absolute truth, I'm a 2-3.

But I gots me some CHIM like trees got leaves. :goodjob:

Achieving CHIM and understanding it are two very different things.
And the whole "I have achieved CHIM!" for 91-100 was a joke. I couldn't think of what sort of ?ber lore should go there.

I tend to stay away from the most abstract philosophy, which is going to penalize me, so I'm going say I'm in the high 50s or low 60s, and I'll vote conservatively.

I was holding on for dear life at 100, I swear to God.

Then I voted in a poll and everything shattered.

Nein, Ich ist der(?) Noob.

A small correction, it is: "Ich bin der(?) Noob." I have no idea if it's der, die or das?

So it wasn't you voting 100, then who would know more than you MK?

Probably MmK. Er... j/k. :P

I put myself at around 35 to 45.

Just think, if you put this on the Oblivion General you would get 250 people saying they achieved CHIM (complete with many different elaborations on the acronym) and another 250 people asking what who the hell Vivec and giant scribs are.

It's a common 'noob' question when people play Morrowind, they hear of Dwarves and immediately ask "Where are the dwarves?" Not that we know the answer, but it's a common question. Like "What if the meaning of life?" Another common, but un-answerable question... unless MK knows that one too... which wouldn't surprise me...

Ah, danke. I've only recently started a Germin course.

[Insert something in German]

I know much in some too, (As Nocturnal Ur-dra)

Even though I actually have not bothered to make a 'Dwemer theory', as so many
people make those, I have made a report/theory on TES Afterlife :dancing: :?)
So therefore I quallified myself as 45 - 57 somewhere :)

~45.

Self educated student of lore. (Imperial Library) + Morrowind. Dwemer & Dunmer cultures are fascinating. The second Numidium inside red mountain was spetacular to see.
