Lorkhan = Dragonborn?

Post » Sun Jan 05, 2014 5:40 pm

Is there any evidence to suggest that the Dragonborn is Lorkhan?

Does anything suggest the Dragonborn is a reincarnated version of Talos?

EDIT: This post is not racist against the Altmer.

The Dragonborn isn't Lorkhan or Talos, that has been argued to death and been disproved.

No, not really, there is nothing stating the dragonborn is a shezarrine. That's just a popular theory with no actual backing behind it that's been given to nearly every main character.

If anything, it's been strongly supported from reenacting Lorkhans life by fighting and beating Alduin in the spirit world, his presence suddenly being gone when we arrive in Sovngarde, and the enantiomorphic events, as well as the ghost calling us Hjalti.

Simply saying that doesn't make it true. There is plenty of circumstantial evidence that the LDB is Shezarrine. At the very least, he is the epitome of Nord belief.

Oh dear lord.

1. People are just desperate to make enantiomorphic events in skyrim, there are supposedly more then ten played throughout the game, if anything it's nothing but a stupid plot device the quest writers thought would be fun
2. we know what the final letter of Lorkhan is, it's the New Man who ISN'T the LDB
3. No, we reenact Shor's doing but even so we aren't in the incarnation of Shor (pretty damn sure we'd hear it, especially when we goto sovngarde)

At most we either mantle Ysmir, Hjalti or Wulfharth but even so I highly doubt it.

Saying the LDB is a shezarrine is nothing but speculation really, no backing to support it.
