Moreover, as far as the Thalmor ENDGAME is considering, what happens after they unmake Mundus? I'm curious to hear ideas, because to me it seems a lot like this amnt goblins.
Landfall is when we see the end of the kalpa coming. Also, Haskil and Dyus laugh at the idea that Nirn is the center of everything.
Exactly. The Numidium coming is when it is first made clear how the Kalpa will end. That is Landfall. We also know that this kalpa will end; MK has told us explicitly. It will last much longer than previous ones though.
In regards to the wheel and telescope models; both are metaphors. Depending on the purpose of the model, there are a few conflicting models of the universe that serve their purposes; the egg of time, for example, was the model favored by the Dwemer.
So if this kalpa ends, does that mean it fails like the rest? If the point is everybody amaranth-ing together then.. the answer would have to be yes, right? Or does the kalpa end by everybody amaranth-ing?
Won't it be amusing if we learn that the real driving force behind the Thalmor is actually an Altmeri Shezarrine who has been unwittingly working toward Lorkhan's success all along? ...Nah, that would be too good to be true.
It would a joke played on all sides. The Thalmor/traditionalist mer are now disgraced by having one of their kind be the most heretical figure, next to Space God, and man's savior would be a race of their ancient enemy.
Just like how my nerevarine is a Saxhleel!
Thing is, we know that whatever happens, Mundus isn't going to end. Bethesda is still making Elder Scrolls games there. They make lots of money off of them, and Zenimax won't let them stop. So they aren't going to kill their cash cow, regardless of what MK says.
We don't know exactly how everything is going to play out. However, I do know one thing: If the Elder Scrolls series ever ends, its grand finale isn't going to be the C0DA webcomic.
