I think I lost Charon and dogmeat for good, help. I went and did the pit dlc, before I started I had them wait at my megaton house. Well then after finishing the Pitt I find that they are both gone from my house. I still have charons contract if it makes a difference. Where can I find them. Also I'd like to mention I recently picked up a new partner, Fawkes. I like him and all but I miss Charon. We had some great adventures and he has saved me a few times. I'd like to get him back if possible. Also he had a few good weapons he was carrying for me. Where is he?

Companions are auto-fired when you go to the dlcs. Charon will be waiting at his default location of The NInth Circle and Dogmeat returns to the exterior of Vault 101.

It's always a good idea to escort your companions back to their default locations and tell them to wait there before traveling to one of the dlcs because although rare, they can be killed on their way home.
