Lost all my mod content :(

My old computer crashed, thats why I haven't been on in a while, I lost all of my stuff I was working on. My current computer can't even play games. :( How is the modding community doing these days?

It gets to me looking at all this great stuff and not being able to try it out, I can't wait till I get a new comp.

Losing everything svcks. Thats why i always keep a file full of the mods ive downloaded. I also back up my save files everynow and then too. Havent had to use backups yet, thankfully, but its a good idea to do it.

i feel ya man, im running morrowind on a crappy laptop, it runs it ok, but not to the point that i would like it, i get about 13 fps in 1280x800 resolution with 1024 res textures, and thats about as far as i can go graphics wise, cant use distant land or shaders :(

but hopefully that will change when i get my new PC

I know how that is, lost lot's of work myself several times. Sorry to hear that :(

And I know about the PC as well, running only MGE without any shaders and minimal view distance sets it between 5-10 fps, and it's not much higher without MGE either, and I'm talking about Vanilla Vanilla, without any fancy textures or trees. And for that matter, I ain't gonna get a new PC haha.

Well I must admit that the boards are somewhat deserted these days, guess it's one of those times again (probably many people on vacations).

That's unfortunate and tragic, man. No worries, it's not the end of the world. Once you're back up and running, you can pick and choose which mods ytou feel are absolutely essential. Don't bother with a folder full of all these mods. Mine reached 10 gigs before I deleted it. Was a huge waste. Good luck!

Ya I was a mod hoarder dude, I did't use half of them. :P

I am not worried about that mod content, It is my WIPs that I have been working on that make me want to cry. :'(
