I have the lexicon and have been through Avanchnzel a couple of times, but obviously not gotten where I'm supposed to be. At the moment I'm halted on the balcony (yep, found the treasure chest) but where do I go from here? I know this has been discussed, and I've searched around, but found nothing that helps me.

Any help at all will be greatly appreciated. (Just as an aside, I think Avanchnzel itself is beautifully designed.)

You have to find the Avanchnzel Boilery. When you get to a certain point after that, you will come to the centurian chamber. Be careful here. You will see the lexican receptal. At the end of that blasted dungeon.

@ashleyclark: MyOlde is not in Blackreach, but http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Avanchnzel.

I have been in Avanchnzel several times. It really isn't very hard to complete the Unfathomable Depths quest. You mostly just have to follow the hallucinations. If I had a better idea of which balcony your stuck on then I could most likely get you on the right track. I can tell you that the room you need to be in is the Avanchnzel Boilery. Be prepared when you do make it there cause there will be a worthy adversary for you to deal with.

I know it is not Backreach, but thanks for the heads up. I looked it up in the game guide to make sure.

Ah, I see you edited out the comments regarding Mzark and Fus Ro Dahing the globe from your original post, I was beginning to think I'd seen things it's all good since MyOlde should be set now! Cheers!

I realized after I re-read it and when he said he had the lexion, that he was not in Blackreach. So no, you was not seeing things. lol
