Lost Innocence - Part 1

The crowd is walking up a stair towards an trapdoor.
Garn and the girl with her deamon got through the trapdoor first followed by Tatsu. Once they were in the open the group saw the white dense fog with the smell of rotten leaves. “Ahhh, the swamps”. Filling his lungs with the fresh/rotten air, Tatsu felt like he is a bit home again. Wondering where to go, he saw Garn getting his weapons ready and moved up to the right side of the group to scout the area there.
"Oke, let me see what I can find on the left side of the group". Wondering if there are any tasty mudcrabs nearby… After searching for mudcrabs in the high grass for 2 minutes Tatsu noticed 3 soldiers walking on a sand path that runs through the high grass.
Two of the soldiers carried nets walking behind an armored soldier. “What are those for? It is not a particular good fishing season at the moment”. He stopped his breath and thought: “But it is now a high season for catching children + deamons” Two soldiers are covered in leather armor with a sword steel sword hanging on the sides, while 1 soldier is fully armoured with steel plates. In his right hand he held a long steel sword that is slightly curved. In his left hand he held a small steel shield with pikes on the outside. “That guy is fiercesome!”. His stomach turned upside down.
“ How on earth do I have to take those 3 guys out. I cant even take care of myself if a goblin attacks me!”
Tatsu: “Well there is no point in running away. If that happens they will find the unarmed civilians”
He thought about hit and run tactics he read in the library.
First he had to make an diversion. "How?"
He saw on his left a small pool with reed plants. “The top of those plants can make a lot of smoke! If I set that on fire, it defiantly attract some attention." He layed down his bag and fishing rod and shot a small flare spell on the reed plants and slipped through the high grass to come up at the back of the group soldiers. The group begun to notice the smoke of the reet plants. "This is my change!”
He emerged out of the high grass and let his sword sunk in the neck of the 1st soldier , while pointing his left hand towards the second soldier in the leather. While the first soldier felt down like a bag of sand, the second soldier turned around and catched a fireball right in his neck, spreading a smell of burned flesh and hair in the area.
The steel soldier turned around more slowly because of his heavy armor. When sawing Tatsu he bull charged towards him barking: You will pay for this!

Tatsu saw the fiercesome soldier coming at him and thought of only one thing: Run!
While running deeper into the dark swamp with an roaring iron monster behind him, he desperatly thought something up.
“Great plan mister! Now what!”. He felt his heart pounding in his throat. The duo now got through the high grass and came on a sandy swampy area. The footsteps of the steel soldier came closer and closer. Tatsu noticed a small colour change in the the sand. Behind him he heard the sweeping of the sword and suddenly a splash and screaming. Now he felt his legs suddenly heavier and noticed his ankles sunk quickly deeper into the sand. “Quicksand! This was the best plan in my life!”. While in panic, he searched around him for a branch or a tree to hold on. To his miracle he saw 6 feet away a dead tree with branches. “This is my change!”. First he casted a feather spell on him. But still he sunk away slowly. His legs felt like lead but tried to move towards the tree. Now the quicksand raised to his middle. Kicking his feet like a frog he slowly moved towards the tree. Come on!
Slowly but steady he came to the tree but still sanking deeper and deeper. Now his shoulders disappeared into the sand. “Only a few inches away!”. His mouth disappeared. Sawing the branch so close he closed his eyes and hold his breath while waving his hands towards the dead tree. He felt a branch touching his hand. Yes! The pulled with all his strength. His torso came out of the sand put the branch broke. “OMG!” Now he moved up towards a much ticker branch, holding it with his life and pulled up with his last strength. “Finally!” He thought when lying down on the bark of the tree. He felt exhausted and looked around to the surroundings. The foot of the tree was on dark, solid ground. The rest of the landscape was filled with small groups of grass and the treacherous pools of sand between it. He looked like a drowned cat covered with sand and decaying leaves. He stumpled towards the 2 corpses.
“Thank you Mr corpse for your lovely steel sword!” He looked into the pockets of the 2 and found 1 repair hammer and some cloth. He also examined the net. “This net could be used for fishing… Or as bag for larger items. He took up his bag with food and his fishing rod and moved back to the group.
“How would Garn react when seeing in covered sand monster?”

Running through the underbrush Leliana dare'd a peek behind her only to see the guards chasing her, dropping hevially to the floor while the others contended with a scamp of all creature's and not very succesfully either. Finally taking care of te scamp one of the guards shouted "We've got a mage!" and now the guards couldnt even stand up, sure enough over to her left there was a mage laughing to himself as he casted spell's, Leliana didnt recognize him, was it the mage who secluded him self she wondered either way she was glad for his help.

"Hey ummm thanks for the help, Im lliana and this is snow, sorry for being rude but you are?" Leliana said as she walked over to him, she then turned back to the still stumbling excuses for soldier's

"And what do you want to do with them?"

ooc: Apologies in advance if I don't post again soon after this (aka, the next couple days). Let's just surmise to say that life is getting very insane very fast and leave it at that. Thanks for your patience should it be needed. Also, excuse any inconsistencies; this post was written over the course of about five separate days.

ic:

"I'm not letting you get drunk, you know," Ja'Rikki's furry Daemon reminded her, trotting along beside her boots. The Khajiit smiled at her companion.

"I rarely do and you know that! Why do you always say that whenever I go to get a drink somewhere?" Ja'Ri inquired of her Daemon. The smaller feline tilted his head in a way that she knew meant a shrug.

"I can never be sure; you've developed odder habits literally overnight before, and you are in the prime age range to take up heavy drinking." Nuvee explained. Rikki angled her ears to the sides and gave him an odd look.

"And..?"

Nuvee snickered, "And.. it's fun to see what level if indignation you react with each time."

"That's what I thought," Ja'Ri smiled. In the middle of her trip, however, she heard the bells that signaled a meeting. Meeting the gaze of her little companion, they exchanged puzzled looks.

"This is a bit early for the next meeting, isn't it, Ri?" Nuvee asked gently. The Khajiit shook her head slowly.

"Yeah, it is. Let's go see what's up, Vee. Could be important,"

The duo arrived just in time to see Aliay begin her speech. Ja'Rikki noticed the usual aura of calmness was absent from their leader today, and that worried her. Fear welled inside the woman as she listened further, her ears flattening and her tail beginning to tremble. Nuvee rubbed against her leg to calm her.

"We're gonna die..," Rikki squeaked, eyes tearing up. She sat off to the side as people milled about her, "The temple's gonna kill us all."

Nuvee ran up her leg and headbutted her in the chin. "You quit that, Ri. We're going back to your room, grabbing your supply sack and getting out of here, helping whoever we can on the way," the Daemon stated firmly. He could feel Rikki's terror in himself, and if she didn't shape up quickly he feared he might start shaking as well. The Khajiit blinked stupidly, staring into the waiting yellow eyes for a few seconds. Words were lost to her. Nuvee nudged her again, softly this time. "Ri? You got all that? Get your tail up and get going and we might live to see tomorrow."

With great effort, Rikki shoved herself off the ground and trudged towards her room. Her body felt numb, and she felt like a stranger in her own skin. When she got to her room, the cat sat and began shoving items into her pack alongside the supplies that were already in it. Her Daemon nuzzled her face as she packed, purring to calm them both.

"We'll be okay, Rikki. Don't worry. Aliay has a plan, I'm sure of it. She always does. Just focus on getting us out of here for now and worry about the details later," he advised. The girl reached a trembling paw up to stroke his fur while she packed for a while with the other hand. After a few minutes, she yanked him off his feet and cried into his side."

"Mom would know what to do," she sniffed, "She'd never let anything like this happen."

"But Karst isn't here right now, Rikki," Nuvee pointed out, referring to their mother by name as he always did, "We'll have to get by without her. Make sure you've got some of those exploding potions, shove whatever else you can fit into the pack and toss me up on your shoulder, then let's get the hell out of here," the housecat glanced over his shoulder nervously, the din of battle loud to him despite the distance, "We don't have much time before they're here.. Quick, let's go."

Throwing her pack onto her back, the distressed Khajiit scooped up her beloved companion and fled. Winding through the corridors, she tried to drown out the cries of men and women dying at the Temple's blades. Dying because she and those like her were different. Dying to buy her time to escape. It made the Khajiit want to collapse mid-run and sob until she ran out of tears, but a nudge from Nuvee brought her back to logic.

"Rikki, look ahead. I think that might be Terra," Nuvee held a paw out towards the back of an Altmer, the woman's long blonde hair distinguishing her to him, "We should stick with her, if we can. She'll know what to do.. I hope."

Blindly following his instruction, Rikki ground to a halt near the woman, her breath coming in harsh puffs through her nose. She grabbed Terra's arm a little harder than she'd meant to when she came to her, her fear evident in her every action.

"Ms. Terra? I.. We.." for a moment, Rikki tripped on her own tongue before grabbing hold of a thought to anchor herself, "I don't wanna die.." she managed finally, gripping the Altmer like a drowning man to a piece of flotsam.

Curtis was broken from his brief reverie by a voice off to one side.

"Hey ummm... thanks for the help." It was the Asluitian woman and her wolf. She was athletic and dressed in armor, and had a surprisingly bright expression considering they were running for their lives, as if she was rarely capable of anything otherwise. Obviously, she was Curt's opposite in every way. "I'm Leliana and this is Snow. Sorry for being rude, but you are...?"

"Probably having too much fun," Curtis mumbled with a half-smile. The trio of soldiers were picking themselves up again, and Curtis snapped out a Drain Fatigue spell, to buy time. They collapsed again, one with a rather creative curse.

"And what do you want to do with them?"

Curtis spent a moment considering that question more deeply than she perhaps intended: did he want to kill the soldiers? Could he? Or would he prefer to keep them alive, but humiliate and traumatize them to the point where they were never able to re-enter normal society again? There were many uses of magic that could bring that about...

After a silence that was a bit too long, he recalled his manners and turned to the woman. "I'm Curtis, and that is my Daemon, Savanah." He gestured toward the nearby low bough that the barn owl had perched on (with a rather pointed gaze in his direction, he now noticed. She could read his emotions like a book, and she obviously did not approve).

"As to what to do about these soldiers... well... we'd best get rid of them, shouldn't we?" He called a shock bolt to his hand, but held onto it, suddenly uncertain about how wise confronting the soldiers was. There were five of them... could he, an untrained mageling, really stand up against five seasoned soldiers?

Worse, his spells were wearing off, and all five were picking themselves up, showing varying degrees of anger. His stomach flipped unpleasantly, and that old, familiar feeling of dread settled over him.

"I'm not hiding," he decided, as much for his own sake as for the woman's.

Uncaring of whether Leliana was willing to fight or not, he unleashed his shock bolt into the group, where it slammed into one of the soldiers' feet. The other four, however, took up their weapons and charged the Asluitians. Savanah launched into the air with a screech, aiming for the eyes of another soldier with those nasty talons of hers.

Curt knew he only had a few seconds of life left before they were upon them... but if he had to go down, he would go down of his own will.

Commander Winters - Outside of the Secluded Moons base

"Commander!" Called out a tall nord who wore a captains uniform, his sword was bloodied and his armour had various stains and cuts. He quickly saluted, his breathing was heavy and Winters could tell the man was exhausted, "We're deep into their caverns now sire but progression is slow, they know the tunnels much better than we do, and they've implemented traps and have caved in some of the areas, trapping our men and forcing us to bring mages up to clear a path. However, I bring news of the battle above the ground.. There's much less resistance, but our forces are very split up, groups of 3 or 4 are finding it difficult to contain some of the more battle trained secluded moons members." He related swiftly and took off his helmet to wipe his brow.

Commander Winters nodded slowly, taking in everything the brave Captain had to say, he stroked his short ginger beard in though before turning back to the man, "Press on with the attack, I will bring my cavalry round and circle around the area, we'll pick up stragglers along the way, order in two squads of skirmishers and order them to follow in behind us, we'll leave them asluitians on the floor for them to pick up and take back to the Caravans." He ordered thoughtfully, watching as the eager Captain ran off to find the men.

Winters looked over his shoulder towards his second in command, Lieutenant Nex, a dunmer from Cheydinhal, "Rally the knights, arm them with nets, swords and spears, prepare to leave immediatly." He ordered before stirring his horse into a trot towards his own tent where a servant rushed out with his silver spear, his shield and finally, his prized ebony longsword.

Kalila spied a few guards spreading out up ahead. She smiled, though Mirage trembled. "Kalila..." She whimpered. "Please...."

Kalila released the tether and tucked it into Mirage's pack. "Listen," Kalila said. "If I can get a few of them out of the way, then that's better for us. Wait here, and I'll take care of them."

She took off before Mirage could object.

Three. One stood with his hands on his hips, while the other two set off in other directions. The gleaming glass war axe on his back told Kalila that he was the leader. She cursed in her mind that it was an axe instead of a sword. She had no use for it. The other two had silver or iron weaponry. She was two far to tell. Kalila knew that she couldn't fight the other two without the leader knowing and she didn't want to chance a fight bigger than she could handle. Then again, if she remained far enough, she could just pelt them with spells.

She took a deep breath, allowing herself to feel fire. It was warm, angry, passionate and soon enough it formed in her hand. She flung it at the leader. He cried out and his two lackeys turned back in surprise.

"Get her!" The leader shouted.

Kalila drew her sword as they came running with theirs drawn. As the first one chopped, she dodged to the side, making it simple to burn him right in the face. He went down screaming and Kalila hoped that she burned his eyes out.

The second one wasn't so easy. For one, his armor covered his entire body. He also seemed a lot more proficient with his sword. She had trouble keeping him off. The leader must've taken notice because without warning, he jumped in as well.

"Leave us alone!"

Mirage came running, her fangs bared. She jumped on the leader, pouncing him hard. She knocked the wind right out of him and luckily, he dropped his axe. The second man was surprised to see Mirage, and Kalila used that advantage to knock him off balance. She stood with her sword pointed at his throat.

Oh, how she wanted to kill him. She wanted to pull his helm off and tear away his skin and eat his eyes and slurp his blood and rip his nose off and hear his gurgling screams until she clawed into his jugular...

But she didn't. Kalila dug her heel hard into his temple. She wasn't sure if it killed him or just knocked him out. When she prodded him with her foot, he didn't respond. She did the same to the leading man, twice, and spit on the ground next to him.

Mirage shook violently.

"Come on," Kalila said taking the tether back. "The camp shouldn't be too far ahead.

Tatsu made his way back to the group. He felt exhausted of his sprint and sandswimming. "By obliivion this sand itches!"
"I'll need to wash myself before it gets worse..."
Tatsu looked around for a small pool of dirty water he might filter to wash off the sand.

Just a few meters away from his stash he found a small pool. He pulled out his clothes and took his shirt, scooping the brown dirty water out of the pool and hold his shirt like a thea bag above his head while the water poored down on him. Suddenly he heared rustling in the grass and felt a net thrown over him. "What! NO!"
He met the wet and looked up to see a mace comming up and down. "You will pay for what you have done!". With several blows of the mace Tatsu fell unconscious. Unaware what is going to happen.

Garn's eyes scanned the forest as he half knelt, half stood in the tall undergrowth, he was still watching the exit that people were leaving out from, other than the squad he'd dispatched and the squad that a random Breton had eliminated, everything had been fine. But the sounds of battle rang out across the thick bush like an echo, the occasional scream here and there.

He looked towards the now "refugee's", they seemed thankful and hurried out quickly, one or two men and women had taken it upon themselves to lead the others away, pointing them in the right direction. He was about to help an old lady out of the hole when he heard a sharp noise, someone close by had just called out in surprise and Garn was ploughing through the grass to find out.

The source wasn't hard to find, a lone legionnaire was raising his voice and thumping something with his mace - When Garn came closer he grimly realised who it was, a growl escaped him as he flexed his hand muscles that clamped around his axe and charged. When Garn broke out from the tall grass the Legoinnaire looked at him with surprise and fear, he had expected to be alone and the last thing he had imagined was a tall orc coming out of the forest.

With a swift and solid movement, Garn slashed out at him with his axe, the blade bit deep into the mans skull, crushing the bone and impaling his head onto his axe - In disgust garn kicked the body away, leaving a large amount of thick blood and numerous dark red lumps of what he assumed was skin on the blade. He dropped it to the floor beside him and rolled over the body of the Breton who he had seen take out 2 guards earlier.

He checked the body for serious injury and looked towards the guards weapon - Good, a blunt steel mace. he thought to himself as he began took a damp shirt that was lying nearby and cleaned his blade against it. He strapped his shield to his back and his weapon to his side and swiftly picked up the breton in both arms, the man wasn't heavy to Garn, the strong orc was used to carrying things that weighed far more than a small Breton.

Slowly, he stalked back to the group of refugee's but stopped dead in his tracks as he heard the sound of hooves coming closer, he quickly placed the breton on the ground and scanned the forest, suddenly, without warning, two dozen heavily armed legion knights thundered across the forest not more than 60 metres away from him - Their target was obviously the refugee's, Garn looked down at the breton, I probably wont be able to save them, but I can definetly save you.

With that thought he heaved the man back up and used this as a distraction, he'd seen a small hut - not far from where he was standing now, all he had to do was get there without raising alarm.

Terra pressed inexorably southward, trying in futility to block out the horrible sounds that seemed to assault her from every direction. With every clash of steel on steel, every cry of anguish that echoed from off in the distance, she could feel her stomach turn sickeningly in her abdomen, and a slight tremor of pain course through her body as though she too were being struck. But she couldn't let herself dwell on that: there was too much at stake for her to give in to despair. She had to-

The Altmer gasped in surprise when a hand suddenly grabbed hold of her arm, breaking her concentration. Eyes wide, she turned around and cast a gaze that was both startled and equally curious towards the Khajiit who had grabbed ahold of her.

"Ms. Terra? I.. We.." The young Khajiit, Ja'Rikki if Terra remembered correctly, seemed to stumble awkwardly on her own words, before finally managing to blurt out: "I don't wanna die.." With that, the young woman's hold on Terra seemed to tighten with desperation.

An intense pang of sympathy washed through Terra, and the Altmer gently embraced the young Asluitian, in a fashion one might associate with a mother attempting to console her child. "It's alright, Rikki," Terra whispered softly, using the girl's nickname. "Don't worry: I'll get you out of here."

As Terra ran her elegant fingers reassuringly through Rikki's dark red mane, she made out the telltale clamour of armoured movement behind her. Still clutching Rikki with one arm, she turned around to the sight of a large Legionnaire, brandishing his weapon menacingly.

"Outta the way, Elf," the man barked, gesturing towards Rikki's daemon with his blade. "I only got orders to kill the beast and its master, but I'll gut you just the same if you get in my-"

The soldier's speech was cut off as a dark purple aura surrounded his being, and with an audible grunt of effort he fell to the ground, his limbs suddenly far too heavy to keep off the ground. As their disabled opponent writhed uselessly on the ground, Terra turned her attention quickly back to Rikki.

"The spell won't last long," she explained, grasping Rikki's arm firmly. "We have to keep moving, regroup with the others." She fought to keep her tone steady, calm, even though deep below her briast her heart was racing frantically. "Come quickly!"

With that, she moved forward, leading the young Asluitian towards the south.

The soldiers where now running full pelt into them Curtis had taken one out with lightning and Savanah was attacking one with her talons that left three

"SNOW!" Shouted Leliana, Snow's eye's glistned as she sprinted forward dodging an axe to pounce the last man of the rushing group aiming for the throat Snow took him down hard, Leliana oulled a dagger from its sheathe and threw it at the leading man he stoped dead and deflectd it with his shield giving Leliana precious time to draw an arrow taking aim she awaited him to lower the sheild which he predictably did. Releasing the arrow it struck him in the neck.

The last soldier had closed in and she didnt have time to draw another arrow as the legionarre swung for her with his claymore a surge of pain struck leliana's right leg, falling to the ground in pain the legionarre's swing missed her and he got his blade struck in a tree. Looking up at snow as she finished of the soldier she had pounced it was apparant he had got a lucky hit on her right leg causing pain for Leliana too, Asshe clutched the wound on her leg she only hoped curtis would finish off befor he turned to her on the floor.

ooc: Just a heads up - The cavalry will now begin encircling the entire area, thus cutting you off from reaching the Argonian camp. While you may attempt to try and pass through the cavalry, I will have to intervene and get you captured. Getting to the hut is really the only way for you to stay in the storyline.

Ic:

Garn crept slowly, his armoured boots squelching in the thick mud as they sank in a few inches every step. He grimaced as he felt his toes getting wet and desperately hoped he'd reach the hut that was only a few metres away now. A fleeing bird made the great orc jump and for a moment he felt silly as he stared wide eyed as it flew between the trees. He breathed in deeply and looked over towards where he had seen the cavalry heading, they looked like they were armed more for killing their captives rather than taking them alive, but he was sure he couldn't do anything but die against a whole unit of armed knights.

With that thought he looked down at the man he carried, the Breton was badly wounded, by the looks of things his bruises were internal, This is not good. he thought to himself, his knowledge of healing were nothing more than common colds or cuts, battle wounds weren't something he had to deal with let alone treat. He took another deep breath and braved the rest of the distance between them and the hut.

With one solid push he managed to break the lock that was keeping the hut safe, it's rusty hinges were no match against the orc and so the door swung wide and hit something inside. With steady feet, Garn stepped forward, he had the Breton behind him defensively as he scanned the room, it seemed to be empty, a small bed lay on one side and a table covered most of the floor space. Covering the walls were a mixture of fishnets, hooks, small sacks and other fishing equipment, most of it seemed unknown to Garn and so he paid no attention to it.

Carefully, he placed the Breton onto the bed and began to look at the wounds, the mans shirt was off and he was able to see the damage, it looked like he'd suffered a broken rib, or maybe it was fractured? Garn couldn't tell and it frustrated him, he'd do anything to have the man wake up, with him lying here, his breathing slow, Garn felt useless.

The guard Savanah was harrying was clutching at his eyes and screaming: Curtis figured that was a good sign. But then, the one he had zapped with a shock spell was upon him, and he had other things to concentrate on.

He held up his staff, as if that would do any good against a real fighter with a steel sword. Fortunately, when the soldier swung, the weapon glanced off his shock shield, throwing a flurry of sparks out into the air.

Curtis threw out a telekinesis spell, yanking the sword with some difficulty out of the soldier's grip, and tossing it into the woods some distance away. The soldier gave a shout and started pummeling the mage with his gauntleted hands.

Curtis stumbled back, trying to bat the man away with his staff: his magicka was running low, and he had no non-magical defenses to speak of.

Fortunately, that was the point when Savanah swooped in, digging her talons into what showed of the man's face beneath his helmet. He automatically stumbled back, and that was enough hesitation for Curtis to jump forward, grab the man, and pump a Shock spell into him with the last of his magicka. The soldier fell to the ground, twitching as he died.

Savanah's soldier was also on the ground, his eyes raked out. He was alive, but he looked pale and shaky, so he wouldn't be hurting anyone anytime soon.

The only other solder to worry about... was attacking Leliana. The young woman was hurt and helpless on the ground, and Curtis had no magicka left.

The soldier was currently preoccupied with getting his sword out of a tree, so Curtis did the only thing he could think of... he ran up behind the soldier, his hard grip on his staff turning his knuckles white, and thwacked the man hard across the back of his helmeted head. The soldier seemed more confused than hurt, and turned to look at him just in time to recieve another whack to the nose. It crunched under the hard oak.

Curtis now had enough magicka to cast a Dissolve spell, so he did, aiming it at the man's helmet. It started rusting away around the man's head, even as the soldier shouted and finally yanked his sword out of the tree. The soldier took a swing at Curtis, who once again skittered back, but took a cut across the upper arm.

But when Savanah flew above him and dropped a large rock on his now-bare head, the soldier finally went down, and stayed that way.

Curtis collapsed on the ground, kneading his hands around his staff to still their shaking; Savanah landed on his shoulder and nipped at his ear comfortingly. He noted that he was bleeding some, but Leliana was much worse off. Of course, at the moment, he had no magicka to heal either of them. "Do you need help with that?" he asked her. "I know some healing... I might be able to close it, in a minute."

OOC: sorry for short but RL has been calling just postingto let ya'll know im still here where is everyone else?

"No no im fine, the one disadvantage to having a daemon they get hurt so do we and of course the other way around" Reaching into her puch she pulled out a tiny vial of pink liquid and drank it, instantaniously she began to feel better. Noticing the wound on the mag's arm she said

"you want one of theese?, just a normal healing potion" Placing the vial on a rock infront of the mage Leliana looked around her and noticed a hut not to far off

"We should go there, could be a good place to laylow for a while" Jumping up and still hobbling slightly Leliana made her way over to the hut which wasnt to far from the scuffle they'd just had, prehaps one hundred yards? Looking back at the Mage she signalled for him to com over, when she heard a noise inside, Drawing and arrow to a ready position she peaked round the door quietly and cautiously.

Occ: Can we please continue?! I want to write something down again. Or somebody please fix me so i can mess around the fishershut for a bit...

"Gosh, where am I?" The world seems to be upside down. His stomach swearls around like a tornado and his head felt like it was used as a drum.
Bright light came into his eyes making his headache only worse. Tatsu took a deep breath and felt a icy pain comming through his chest.
"Now i know where i am! In hell! Hmmmm where would Lucifer be? I'll need to somehow talk myself out of here! The young breton tried opening his eyes again. But the only thing he saw was bright, burning light and closed his eyes quickly."That must be the hell fire... How do i maneuver here around with my eyes closed????" Well i better just lay here down. He knows i am new! That monster would come to me to have a little chat! Or would a lower devil clash visit him? The breton is not quite sure. If he was in hell why didn't he heard screaming? The only thing he heard was a damn frog sound that repeated over and over and over again and other swampy sounds...

This is my subconcious? or a Sub-hell that looks like a swamp? Gosh i really want to have a restore headache potion Tatsu thought grimly....
Well Swamp hell is better then hell itself... considering large amounts of ingredients! It might be usefull if I could see a *censored* thing instead of only bright light.
He releaved a small groan of all the problems he had to face at once. "ok lets check if i can move anything..." Legs are fine, arms, fingers, toes, mouth. And another icy pain came into the breton's chest as he tried to take a deep breath and left another groan when breathing out. Checklist chest status: not oke..... "neck: check, head... well lets not talk about that."
Blehhhhh, cant move a muscle without pain. Still wondering if he was in hell or still alive he heard the screeking of a door........

OOC: CAN WE PLEASE CONTINUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After Tatsu got a bottle into his throat, with a black distastefull disgusting oil in his tong. Tatsu jumped up coughing and choking of the content. "Darn this is the second time i am knocked out! If this will happen the 3th time, ill..."
The pain in this chest burned fiercely, but ebbed away as the potion took in effect.

"Hello, there sunshine!" The orc laughed. A bit dazed he looked around in the fishershut. Beside the Orc there were 2 other people standing he didnt knew. An young Breton with black pants and a colorfull shirt. And a Imperial woman with darn beautifull eyes in leather clothes! Behind here a snow wolf was sniffing around as if he smelled food.
"So, how is your chest?! Good enough to breath again?"
Tatsu nodded; "Good enough for me. If this is a welcome party, where is the cake?"

"We havent properly introduced each other. I am Curtis"; while raising his hands" Your bone was quite broken with that mace, good thing i have some expertise in alchemy as Curtis smiled.
"Tatsu, Tatsu maki", thanks for the patch up.

"I am Bugarn member of the gro-Xerca clan"; the Orc introduced.
Tatsu nodded again.
And i am Leliane as her voice thundered.

"So now we have properly introduced each other, what happend when i was out?"

Well, I guess this is what I get for not being active - If I am to continue this (And I would like to) I need to know who would do it, and I'm not really talking about those who would go, "Yeah, I guess that sounds like an alright idea." but those that actually want to see this story (Of which is extremely indepth) come to a finish or atleast, some conclusion.

If you do, send me a PM or reply here.

I'd still like to continue, meanwhile I'll let my character run amok around the camp a bit.

The moment Tatsu could stand on 2 legs stable and without having pain in his chest, the group begun to think of a solution for his “no-clothes around his torso” problem and came up with a funny solution. While he wiped his face with the sheet to remove the sand-dirt they approached him with a funny solution.
The torso was first covered with the dirty sheet of the bed then with the stacks of hay laid in the corner, combined with rough rope and you have a itchy, warm, isolating hay like sweater.
When the masterpiece was finished and the group admired the job the jokes arose about the funny outfit; "Hahehe, with this you can scare away every mud crab! This is the best scarecrow ever seen!"
It's a bit Spriggan-ish. I wonder how they will react in a hay dressed Breton, as a meal or as a companion?

After the numerous jokes, Tatsu find it enough and headed outside to catch fish and fresh air. He took a fishing line with a hook and equipped his small sword and headed out. The food he gathered when he was in the camp along with the fishing equipment, the mortal & pestle was gone. The group had some food for only a couple of days. "I'll better catch something before we run out". And then they see me how valuable i am for the group; The breton thought.
"There better be a lake or a stream nearby. Lets hope for the first one or the 2nd one if it isnt already dried up".
With the previous encounter with guards and quicksand stuff, the young breton now knows where to walk without letting his feet sinking in the sand.
After finding and following a small stream, Tatsu found a small lake nearby. "Let the games begin!" First things first tho, he had to find a land slide with less packs of reed at the water side, since he cannot afford to get wet.
Then how am i suppose to get fish if i can't get to them? He had a not that shinny belt, but that have to do to catch some fish at least. Tatsu found a solution to that he made a piece of land wet and stamped with his feet like a berserk goblin on the ground. The worms will come up because they think its raining and he had his bait. "Gotcha! He hooked up his first worm on the hook and let the terrible waiting begin. To not fell asleep when the fish had gotten the bait, Tatsu had the fishing line tied around his ankle.

"If I was a powerful mage, I would have cooked the whole lake and picked up the ready to eat fish of the surface! That would be awesome!..... And stupid now that his conscious interfered. If you cook the entire lake where are you going to catch fish again?
Other options then? How about give the fish illusion that if they bite on the hook they will enter "The Paradise"? That would be funny to watch how the fish are fighting each other so they can "enter the paradise".
Na that is not big enough he thought; "How about jumping on land will give them the superiority in this lake, or as a divine purpose? Then the only thing he had to do is hold a bag open!

In the young Breton's fantasies the fisherman didn’t noticed that behind him a Spriggan watched. When Tatsu reacted on the sound of cracking twigs he stood there in straight contact with the big Spriggan.
"Why do i always get into trouble when i am alone!" This ain't fair! "Stay calm, just don't move and hope that the foul creature will go away"; he prayed.

There was Tatsu on the edge of the lake, his fishing line in the water, and right in front of him a Spriggan 2,5 meters tall that sissed and observed the young Breton glowing eyes.
"How long is this going to take? Just stay still and dont move. With this "Sweater" that thing will actually think ill am a bush!"
"Wait, what did Curtis said between the jokes? Something about he looked like a Spriggan himself..."
With that thought in mind his comfort about thinking he was a bush faded away, and felt very unconfortable about the idea to behave like a monster.
"I'll better stay still then".

To make his situation "better" the fishing line begun to pull on his ankle. The Breton had to begin giving counterweight to not fall but also not to make much movement to attract the attention of the monster.
Because of the counter-balance reaction the Spriggan sissed harder and approached him, making weird figures in the air with her arms. "What is this thing?"
Now that the fishing line is going to pull harder Tatsu waved a bit with his hands and bowed a bit to keep his balance.
For him the situation only got worse. Sissing and hissing the monster walked around the really sad Tatsu. The only thing he want was fish and ended up with what he thought is a pairing ritual with a Spriggan.
The monster maded only more sounds and the arms begun to swing harder and harder as it made laps around Tatsu.
Finally the hands of the Spriggan begins to touch the neck of the young Breton. Something he couldn't bare anymore.
That touch of the monster became to much for Tatsu. With all his strenght he begins pulling his leg towards the land. "GET ME THE HELL OUT OF HERE!" he thought.

The fish on the other end protested heavily, while Tatsu and the fish did a tug of war the Spriggan entered the next stage. First she made sounds and touched Tatsu all the time, it now begins to give off a sort of green smoke from her body. The smell was horrible. Finally the fish gave up, Tatsu felt face forward into the dirt.

Instead of the hissing and sissing him the sound was more of a high skreek. Like a angry eagle. Instead of the dance ritual, The Spiggan now had an aggressive posture, out of the hands growed claws. “Fighting against a 2,5 meter high monster kinky female? Noway!” And so Tatsu made a run for his life again into the swamp, followed by his fish on a line.
After a few hundred meters Tatsu stopped, pulled the fish towards him. Cut off the rope from his ankle with a knife and run off cursing about his fish and finding another spot.
