Lost legends Quest : V

If you are not a Mage do not do the Lost Legends quest which you get from the book of the same name. I don;t see it as a spoiler but a warning, as to complete the quest you must be or join the Mages Guild, and if a Warrior or a Thief (like me), it is very annoying to find this out at the end of the quest.

As I say, I don't see this as a spoiler, I see it as a warning. It is the most stupid thing Bethesda has done in the game as far as I am concerned!

i did it as a fullon dual wielding warrior, the only thing you need to do

is to do the first quest from the Winterhold college to get the last piece, "under saarthal" thats it

Well, if you are willing to put perks in skills you don;t want to, and go around and find a particular spell that lets you in, then fine, but I think there should have been a warning in the journal or something, and I find it totally unimmersive that a thief, my character, would ever want to join the Mage's Guild!

i never had to put 1 single point into Magica, and im playing as a Breton

Pffft. I did the mages guild quest line as a heavy armor wearing dual-axe wielding Nord.

The only spells I needed were low level and given to me automatically when I needed them. Everything else just died from having it's head chopped off.
