Several years ago, I went through an active period of mod creation. I created four mods that were released publicly listed below. Then I was away from Morrowind for a while but today I heard its call again and was tempted to reinstall. I went to the website where I released my mods to redownload them, and it turns out the site, Planet Elder Scrolls, closed a while ago while I was inactive.
My four mods were Ebonheart Orphanage, an add-on for COM that allowed the player to adopt kids, Morrowind Linking Books which hid Myst-style linking books in every town, mPod which was a mp3-player kind of item in the game, and a Death Note inspired mod which gave the player a magical book which allowed them to kill any player and a Shinigami god to follow them.
I only uploaded them to that one website since at the time I was unfamiliar with any others. I know it is unlikely, but I was wondering if anyone here happened to download those mods at all and would be able to reshare them with me. If nothing else it would be good for nostalgia. I put a lot of time into those projects and hate to think that I may never see them again. I have already accepted the fact that my three incomplete mods were never properly backed up and can never be recovered- that is part of the reason I got frustrated and quit modding when the computer I had at the time died unexpectedly and the flash drive I backed everything up on corrupted at around the same time.
Anyway, sorry to lay on the feels. I hope to see my projects again. I can do nothing more than hope now.
