So, I dismissed Cait to the Red Rocket while she had power armor on, and upon returning to the rest stop she was out of the PA and it was no where to be found I do have a couple other frames, but now I make sure companions exit their suit before we part ways. I just wanted to share this so no one else has the same issue

Try looking at the place you made dismissal. Companions will exit power armour when not active companions.

Not for me. Yesterday I decided to move the whole shebang to a new settlement, sent three companions in PA to the new settlement and they were all waiting for me in PA when I got there a bit later.

I tried that since I dismissed Cait at the Red Rocket to the Red Rocket. I have searched everywhere for the power armor to no avail.

Funny, I could not made them stay in it when I tried last time. Although it was long time ago. May there have being some updates which changed it? I have to try it again, that would be nice.

Then I am afraid you lost your suit. Although it is very strange.

I thought the PA location showed up on your Pipboy map. Mine does. It's a little PA helmet icon.

It does but all of mine are at Red Rocket . . . well except the one Cait "lost"

Don't do this. I did this, and she obviously left the PA whilst there, and then the PA then went like a statue. Couldn't access it at all.

Okay, this is a common problem.

Important: If you leave your Power Armor with a fusion core in it, someone (raiders, settlers, minutemen) will steal it and you will not find it unless you are lucky and they show up at your workshop. It does not help that you store your Power Armor in your Power Armor Station, if the fusion core is in it; it will get stolen.

So: always transfer the fusion core from your Power Armor to your inventory after you have exited your Power Armor. Then, no one will steal it and it will remain where you leave it until you pick it up again.

And finally: you lost a Power Armor frame? No problem. There are literally dozens of Power Armors around the Commonwealth, you will soon enough find a new one. Good luck.

I lost one to, got in a frame to move it, little glitch seemed to be happening, wasn't able to exit frame, instead climbed into a full suite of power armor, got back out, and the frame I had on was gone, have not seen it since.
