so i have had a switchblade since nearly the beginning of the game. it had a special ability, % chance to incapacitate a leg. it was called kneecapper. not sure if that was my name or the given name. anyways, i exit saugus furnace, have to fight a bunch more forges, go to my blade and it is not there. so i go back to where i just took out the boss with my blade and got the explosions bobblehead. all enemies gone, including my blade. quick saves along the way are gone, my only other save is 24hrs ago. not going back that far.

have looked for a console way to get item back, but i can not find the item or it's code. anyone else know it's code or what weapon i am talking about?

kneecapper form id is 001f1048 and switchblade bade id is 000fdc81.. Should make the same weapon right? Idk, I play on X1..hope this helps.

Since Kneecapper is, I imagine, a Legendary mod, and the switchblade just happens to have that mod in it, you may have to use a mod (if you're on PC) that lets you install Legendary mods onto items. If you just code-spawn the Legendary mod and the switchblade, I doubt you'd be able to combine them in the vanilla game.

You could try spawning a switchblade then using the amod command to add the kneecapper Legendary to it, but that doesn't always work on spawned items. If it doesn't work, try the amod command on a found switchblade - like the one at Olivia.
