Did I accidentally deconstruct it? Did I drop it in the world somewhere when doing the companion glitch to have them carry over their limit? Either way it was all my fault. Have you done any mistakes you regret ingame?

P.S. no I can't start over I got to 60ish in survival difficulty.

I sold my wife wedding ring by mistake. I didn't notice until I was level 30.

You might want to just check out all your settler's inventories.
If you put it in a container in a settlement a settler might have just "borrowed" it.

Did you check to see if Nick stole it back? There are plenty of Yellow Trench Coats and Dirty Trench Coats, but only one Faded Trench Coat. Might have to wait for PS4 Mods to get the trench coat back.

Wasting about 10 hours building up a settlement. Those ten hours will never be mine again an I must live with it. Damn settlers are never happy.

Yeah I hate settlers. Especially that lady with the Mintueman who nag at you the entire game. Save her from raiders, a deathclaw and build her a home and she still treat you like a piece of crap. If I had a pet Deathclaw she would get feed to it in a heartbeat.

Marcy Long. I can't stand her either. Bethesda seems to be good at making NPC's for the PC to hate. A guy on Reddit turned her and her husband into molerats with console commands.

Good news and some bad news everyone! Good news is that I have a old save I forgot about! the bad news is that all the progress I made from level 20 to 61 is lost. Indifferent news though the faded trench coat may not be lost. I feel like if I revert to this save though I should consider starting over it is not that hard to reach 20.
