Hello!

I play on XB1 and my character is level 45. I have my Sneak up to 4 ranks and my Mr. Sandman maxed. While sneaking and shooting with suppressed weapons I used to do 3x damage. Now, I only do 2.5x damage. I don't see that anything has changed and when watching videos on the Youtubes I see that other people are still doing 3x damage.

Any thoughts?

Do you have a companion with you? I noticed while playing automotron that my sneaky sniping value lowered when I had Ada with me. I don't think this used to happen but I didn't play much with companions.

The damage did lower after the 1.4 patch as well. I used to do 5.8 damage. After the patch I was only doing 4. something.

I don't think robots can sneak, but that doesn't explain the .5x of damage lost or the situation. I think the most likely cause is the 1.4 patch which made all the perks additive instead of multiplicative. Most of those Youtube videos were made before the patch.

Ahhh, a patch. That could do it. I always have a companion with me for the sake of being a mule and lover's embrace. svcks! Working my way up to the Ninja perk. @ Level 46 I plan on getting Level 5 Rifleman to double my rifle damage. Thanks!

Same here. I did 5.3x (I think), now I do 4x

I'm hoping Ninja boosts this.
