A lot of ammo in LR?

Post » Wed Sep 28, 2011 2:53 pm

OK so am I the only one finding [censored] tonnes of ammo in LR? I started with about 20 .50 AP rounds, and i have way over 2000 now just from random loot, as well as other assorted rounds in high quantities. am I the only one finding this or is this known?

You're not the only one - it's known. There is a tonne of ammo there. One of my first mods was to halve all the ammo amounts.

I checked out the Courier's Mile, and now I have enough ammo to turn Mohave into a crater.

Beats revisiting the usual merchants and waiting 3 days on hardcoe to replenish their stock. I'd rather farm mobs for gear and ammo than play the waiting game.

As fun as Courier's Mile was, I think I spent only an eighth of the ammo I found there ahaha

I just got into the Divide and I have to concur, there is a lot of ammo. I just got out of the bunker into Hopeville and haven't even made the climb down the hill and have found around 200 MF cells. And the one commissary in the bunker has a lot of ammo. Most of which I left and only took what I needed.

I have enough ammo to fill that crater.

I think fallout would have been thrice as fun if ammo in the game was really rare. Like you had to trade your [censored] armor with the merchants to buy 50 .308 rounds. And finding a stimpack felt like a life time achievment. At least then survival skill would have had alot more respect.

ammo in the base game is rare. dlc's are separate entities. as obsidian has shown with the other three, they like to give us lots of extras for our $10. i support their dlc philosophy.

also keep in mind we are walking through a military base, what else are we going to find there?

i would like to see the ammo amounts found with scavenger. (in case i remember incorrectly, the perk where you're supposed to find more ammo).
