LOTR music?

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 3:06 am

Hi

Im quite a big LOTR fan and have wanted the music to somehow be incorporated into my game for a while now. I have checked mod sites (tesnexus, etc.) but didnt find anything.
Just wondering if anyone knows of any mods that add the music to Oblivion... or how i can do it myself?

You can add any music you like as long as it in mp3 format - so if you have the soundtracks in mp3's, just add them in the appropriate folders in the Music folder.

You would need to buy the soundtrack CD's, and then rip the files, and if they aren't already in MP3 - convert them. Then put the files in the Data\Music\##### folder (##### being where you want to hear the music eg 'dungeons').

Any mod that would host the music files for free, would be violating the copyright ?????????????????????????

Thanks for replies guy... i was thinking about the copyright issue but i thought id post, so if there wasnt a mod someone could tell me how to put it in myself. So it's as easy as putting the music files (mp3 ;) ) into Oblivion/Data/Music/Region/x? i shall do that then :hubbahubba:

When MERP comes out it will include regional music, so if you own the LOTR soundtrack and have it in MP3 format you can copy them into the folders that way, and it will be done all nicely. MERP will not distribute the LOTR official soundtrack, all of our music we make ourselves :D

It's quite good too :)
