So a few months ago my idiot friend who I always fight with was talking about some Lord of the Rings game. And saying it's going to kick Skyrim's rear. As you can already tell. He's one of those biased people who have the guts to call themselves a gamer. Well I showed him when he saw the trailer. He was apolled.
Well just recently I have channeled with Machinima and seeing these adds on this game. So I was surprised and went to check on it. Being addicted to flame wars, I posted a comment saying how LoTR:War in the north in all honesty looks like dino feces compared to Skyrim.

And this imbecile comes in and decided to reply with this comment that made me rage: "Since when did graphics make a good game? I haven't played Skyrim, but I know it svcks." (Take in note he did this in horrible spelling, I just made it with grammatical improvments)

So really. What do you guys think on this company trying to leech off the LoTR series?

I do think the whole "War in the North" thing is a little ham-fisted, but I have no clue if it's actually in the lore.
It sounds tacked on, what with the eagle buddy and the whatever else.

As a huge LOTR fan, I take offense to your message. They both can coexist since War in The North is focused on co-op while Skyrim is a single player affair and closed minded ignorance and blind zealotry are something seriously wrong with Gamers today.

The post makes very little sense.... Who cares about some pissing contest you had with someone on another forum? Do you think this makes you "cool" or something? You know, you haven't played EITHER game yet so really you shouldn't have an opinion either way. For all we know, War in the North will in fact be a better game... but even if its not, bashing it doesn't make you cool.

Besides, who's "leeching" off the LotR series? You do realize there is a license holder to the franchise, and that THEY license people to make games for them. Its not like the people making War in the North are going out and making a LotRs game on their own. So your lame question makes no sense. Even if it did though, why are you asking a War in the North question on the Skyrim forum? Your blind fanboyism for Skyrim does not make this a Skyrim based topic you know.
