You're welcome to make a better song/video. It's at least more constructive than sitting there whining about it.

"This steak is raw, green, rancid, and riddled with maggots."
"WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE CRITICIZING THE CHEF HE PUT HIS SWEAT AND BLOOD (LITERALLY) INTO THIS STEAK YOU WILL EAT IT AND ENJOY IT WITHOUT CRITICISM OF ANY KIND UNLESS YOU CAN GET UP RIGHT NOW GO TO THE KITCHEN AND COOK A BETTER [censored] STEAK."

Nice logic. Ever heard of constructive criticism? Here's some: reverb is a trashy effect that sounds terrible in that song. Nix it and the video will be greatly improved.

Also, saying "there's already been 500 threads about this video" is a completely valid point, seeing how mods have locked previous repeat topics before that were links to this exact video.

T.its or get off youtube.

But seriously, I don't think there's anything special about her voice. It just seems people see a female, with briasts and a v.agina and everything, singing on the old youtube and they become jaded proclaiming it to be the BESTEST THING EVER!

It's pretty trashy, dull and laced with after effects that don't really help.

Edit: You really can't type V.agina here? What is this, preschool?

Damn, why doesn't anyone cover "Ragnar the Red?" It's my favorite bard song... out of the two :P

I'm not the one to criticize one's appearance like people before me have. It's not the point of this video and I don't consider myself entitled to pass that judgment. I see smiles "creepier" each day, some of them my own!

Nice voice, good for her. That is all.

Wasn't my point, if that's the impression I gave. :P

Not saying she's ugly or anything, but at that 1:25 mark, I dunno, she looked like a plastic barbie doll and it gave me the heeby-jeebies. :sadvaultboy:

This cracks me up cause it's coming from the same guys who spends hours at the character creation sliders making their heavily modded plastic girl look at hot as possible, rofl. *COUGHhipocritsCOUGH* :whistling:

Awww hell naw! Don't throw me into that group, I hate those freaking mods. "Look I made a mod to make [censored] bounce and all the women wear bikinis and their skin achieves a weird inhuman level of smoothness." Like wtf?

With Kardashians and Gagas running around with thick make-up on their fa?ades, I can understand how some boys would say she's average looking. She's a cute gal and has a nice voice. Granted, she has the reverb set a little too high, but overall, it's a good job.

Still think this should be sung more like, well... a bard. :) Actually a (rock)singer with much power in (preferably his) voice. And with completely different, more original arrangement. Nothing wrong with this one, either, except that it should be a peace of cake for anyone who calls herself a singer to deliver vocals like that, especially with that much reverb backing you up. :)

I didn't mean to say I hate it or anything... I liked it like that as well, I thought the arrangement was great! Still, need moar tavern troubadour feeling to it...

I'm amazed how some people are so sold to this. I guess it's more because of "pretty gurlz + video gamez = instant popz" aspect than the actual singing talent. I mostly like the arrangement, how well she bends The Dragonborn Comes to her calm (easy) style and how well the Morrowind theme works after it. Then it suddenly feels very separate song when she has to sing the Skyrim theme at the end...

Okay, she did this ethereal-feeling-thingy with too much delay and it might have worked in the minds of some but... I wouldn't compare this to, say, Enya singing LotR theme. Not. Even. Close. Also this girl offers nothing new next to that LotR theme.

Besides I don't like that ethereal feeling pursuit in a freaking bard song! I think acoustic playing and brisk, clear, strong singing is what does the trick and makes the people actually drink that mead! :D See Flogging Molly and Blind Guardian.

I agree she uses too much reverb, but her voice is AMAZING.
She needs to be a in a Bard DLC or mod.
This guy can also come http://youtu.be/Lwgeulqt-jI

Why are so many people on this forum so damn jaded?

I, for one, am scarily in love with this lady and this video. <3.<3

She sounds a bit like Dido. What really make that weaker-than-Dido voice to work is the reverb AND backing vocal track spams. :P I don't think her voice is that good or original, or maybe it's just me and my heavy medulz even when I really shouldn't compare. :<

It just amazes me how someone can take their time to reply just to point out that another person just isn't "doing it that well" or to comment on the shape of their face? And now I'm taking my time to point that out... Oh well.

Meh. She at least has good taste in video games.

In general thought I'm really impressed with the pub music.

Sometimes I get a little sick of the lyrics but the music itself is sick.

Meh... it's nothing special, really.
The whole video simply seems way too pretentious to me.

Btw, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gyCFuP3rM2w is my personal favorite cover of Skyrim theme.

Sounds good too. But its not really feeling as close to the game. If skyrim was an theme for a metal album with Dovahkiin featured on the cover "Amon amarth style", well then it would be another matter.

I know that being a complete jerk on the internet it's been a fad for (far too long) a while. I didn't knew the whole "rude is cool" thing have extended for this forums. A shame. We had such a nice community.

That's the price for TES going mainstream, I think.

To everyone who didn't like it;
What, you want MORE Jason [censored] Marsden?

Every, and I mean every stock song in the game is TERRIBLE as a bard song.
That girl's song is immaculate and you can guarantee when the opportunity arises, it will be modded into my game.
Just once more, to hell with Marsden. Why didn't Beth ask Hansi Kursch?

I think she did a nice job. She has a good voice. I`d like to hear her do it with the guitar unplugged and her voice dry with no effects. I think she would then capture the feeling of a bard playing in an inn like the stocks games tracks do.
