I love documentaries! What are your favorites?

I've seen some interesting ones on some brilliant photographers like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jvt1ImIKi0U and Annie Leibovitz - Life Through a Lens. The latter is especially interesting if you're also interested in the rock scene, with Leibovitz having been a photographer for the Rolling Stones.

I love watching videos on weapons used WWII, actually WWII is probably my favorite period in history to learn about. IDK why but there's just something about that period that intrigues me.

I love a good documentary and have seen many good ones for various subjects....which means I can't even begin to list them here.

They're not documentaries but we were just reminiscing on the old NFL films narrated by John Facenda. I can't find a proper clip but here's one with the right audio (voice and music) over someone's homemade collage-

His voice and that music made football seem epic as a kid :)

You were background hippies weren't you? :P

I watch endless documentaries on every subject since I get British TV on cable. That's almost all I watch, actually.

The last one I saw was Little Girl Blue about Janis Joplin. (I also saw Amy about Amy Winehouse lately, some parallels there.)

A recent standout was Escher and Me by one of my most admired living people, Roger Penrose.

If you do a "long duration" video search on Google for BBC, PBS etc. documentaries there are quite a few around. You can look for series such as Horizon, Arena, American Masters.
