Yes, Fallout 4 did disappoint me in some areas but improved in others. Same with FO3, NV (even though it was developed by Obsidian), Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim. Which game I play depends on my overall mood, and what I want from a play session.

-I want a winter wonderland? I play Skyrim.

-I want creepy vaults? I play Fallout 3.

...etc

Anyone else feel the same way? I'm asking this because there's just been so much negativity surrounding FO4 lately. I don't have a particular favourite, I just play wherever the wind takes me.

I'm enjoying Fallout 4, plenty and sure I played the original Fallout way back when.

I liked all of the Fallout RPGs, and consider them all great games. Inevitably one is going to be the worst, but to me "Worst Fallout RPG" is still better than most of what else is out there on the market.

All the fallout games have been fantastic in their own way

I don't play games for their settings, so no.

I feel like that about the last 3 Elder Scrolls games I like them all pretty much the same for different reasons.
