I love making Altmer! [WIP]

Hm, well, the only thing is, as far as I know ears are always linked to the hair (if there are ears showing, of course). Only thing to consider is, if you link the ears with the face and someone uses a hairstyle from another headpack, the character will soon be known as "Elaninde Four-Ears".

Ears are part of the head mesh even if the NPC is bald, so I don't see any chance of a conflict here. I think Mel was talking about changing the ears on the hair meshes she already has.

Mel, I know you've said before that you don't feel that you can make good looking men, but I would like to see them get the same treatment that your very lovely ladies have been receiving if possible. The only reason I say this is because the difference between your faces as those of others is very glaring when using two or three different head packs at the same time. Even though Westly has done high resolution faces for his original face replacers, yours still look different. So I'm asking that you rethink your position on male faces. Besides, I have a Nord male companion in the works that could use a new face.

Oh Lyssia I'm not saying link the ears with the face. It's like Jac said, I could just link non-pierced ears to the hair I'm already using. Wouldn't be hard just tedious. The pierced meshes by Kafei are so awesome, I just used them without considering lore-correctness, but Elaura is right.

Rglrhglfhdhk. (Yes it's a word.) Ok Jac, consider my position re-thought. Again. Third time's a charm, one can hope. Nord male companion, you say? Hrmph. You drive a hard bargain. What kind of time frame are we looking at?

To quote you: "Rglrhglfhdhk"! Not lore-correctness, just personal preference. No one has ever confused me for being overly concerned about lore, before. :D

Nope, no deadlines on my part because I don't believe in them for hobbyist stuff. Right now I'm using a Better Head, but I would much prefer a photo-realistic face for him. :whistling:

Heh Elaura, that's true I suppose. Still, you make a good point about having the no earring option.

Jac, how old is this person supposed to be?

Late twenties, early thirties. We never established his actual age, but while he's not an old man, he's not a neophyte either.

Wow stunning! You did a great job on this one. She looks like she used to be a young hot lady :D She wishes she had a spell to turn back time^^

btw. I made some progress in learning how to remorph faces with blender. So I hope I can soon edit the face models, shaping nose and stuff, and then apply a normal working face animation. Cause I dont want to re-use the same face models over and over again. I want to make some with long ugly noses and stuff :touched:

I would have missed this one if Chaka ZG hadn't mentioned it. Not all of us go back to the first post in a thread when it's had some activity. :P Anyway, I like it. Like the others have said, she looks like an older sorceress who may be looking to regain her youth and beauty or is just that confident in her abilities. I can see me using this face specifically for the alchemist in Balmora.

I don't either, but our fresh face-making couple tends to update the OP so I got used to checking that out when I'm in their threads. :P

Again, excellent. Tons of character in those last two faces, they are just beautiful. :goodjob: I like the subtle makeup, perfect for women of their apparent respective ages; very tasteful.

I like the yellow eyes but do you think you could make two or so in that warm orange golden tone they have in vanilla?

Careful Saiko. Your bandits better be fire, wind, water, and daedra proof. >:o

Sounds good, Sister. I'll start doing it.

Wow, your Altmer in your original post looking better than the High Elves in TESV Skyrim! You have a great talent for this facial modification stuff, Meldiocre!

I like the older one (the first update), but something about the second one doesn't sit well with me. I guess it's because her face isn't narrow enough? Or maybe it's because it looks like a round face that's been thinned out. I dunno. Both are very good though.

That's because she doesn't have a chin fetish.

I have to say, I like the more rounded look of the last face. I tend to think that a variety of narrow and rounder faces for ANY race is a little more believable and adds more depth to the variety of heads. I mean, one of the major complaints about other headpacks we've seen in these threads is "every head looks the same." In real life, face shapes vary quite a bit, even among the same ethnicity; I can't see why fantasy races are any different. Just my 2 drakes, though.

And on a completely different note, what armor is that last character wearing? I can't believe I've never seen it before, it's lovely!

Tes, I think he's talking about the fact that Skyrim chars are very "chinny." I could be wrong. They seem to have very strong chins tho.

Lyssia, that last one is the NioLiv Robe of Burdens which comes in Canadian Ice's breathtaking robe replacer pack. That texture is so gorgeous and detailed, I have no idea how they managed to do it. My secret dream is to do clothing textures like that. @_@

All of the women have chins you could crack nuts with and the men have chins you could break stones with. So yeah, Bethesda had a chin fetish when they made Skyrim. That and not a whole lot of imagination because every humanoid race looks very similar.
