Im like 64 hours in the game now, however i just got ED-E because i decited to wanted to have him as a companion now..

I got the quest ED-E my love, but no one i talk too fallout wiki says is working to trigger it ... I c ant talk to the old lady gibson obviously, the doctor at the skii lodge i talk to him again and about enclave and nothing happens.. I went to helios one to talk to that other doctor again about the weapon with him mentioning the enclave... Nothing works...

How do i activate this stupid anoyying quest ?

The first record triggers on the Word Helios (or something like President)

Just keep spamming people around Helios building till someone says the word.

I think this quest may be bugged for some. I am in a similar boat in that I got the first recording to play after talking to Old Lady Gibson, but can't get the quest to continue. I've done the whole "Helios" quest and people have been throwing keywords left and right, yet multiple days later (in game), ED-E still won't say boo.

I've read the wiki and the guide and done everything I can, but it just isn't happening. Is there a way to force this quest via the console, or do I just have to ditch ED-E and get Rex?

Edit: I just read the "bugs" section of the wiki. It is a bug.

You have to Get Anyone to Say Helios One Then you will get Log 1 Then go to Helios one Go Talk to Inacio in the back of Helios one And Get him to Say Archimedes then idr ill post later the rest

There are time limits between each message. After the 1st message, you have to wait something like 10 days, then pursue the 2nd message. After the 2nd message you have to wait a couple days to retrieve the 3rd message.

I went to old lady Gibson for the first message, to Helios for the second, brought ED-E to the followers of the Apocalypse and then picked him back up at Primm.
