I love Skyrim but i would of liked it more if.... : V

Hear me out i in NO way hate elves, in fact i like most of them, but in Skyrim these Thalmor are really starting to get me mad, i would of sided with the empire, but with them being whipped to the thalmor there is NO way, it even made elven armor less satisfying to me now..

But to the point i would of rathered the next game be in the great war than in skyrim, And then make skyrim my personal preference but i think the great war would have been fun...

Actually, I find myself agreeing. But I love the world of skyrim, so, meh. It is more layered this way, though slightly less epic sounding.

The elder scrolls are about prophecy of world changing events, oblivion gates; Alduin returning, not petty wars of mortal races. Though it would have been very interesting to have the Great war as a backdrop to a secret but greater threat.

Morrowind was kind of a petty conflict, all things considered.

Everyone in the empire hates them too. They just too weak at the moment to fight them back. I personally want see an expansion in Hammerfell and see the Redguards and Thalmor fight again.

Well u gotta think
The thalmor are tes versions of nazi's
There "pureblood" elves that believe thy hold lineage to the aldmer
And that nirn is rightfully theres...
U also realize in the imperial civil questline that everybody in the imperial legion hates the thalmor and doesnt want them around for long....

Also...has anyone thought that maybe one of the dlc's will be a battle from the great war??
Sounds good to me....also ppl in skyrim keep talking about elswyr and khajiits...so kaybe a dlc taking place there?? Or maybe even an expansion!!!!!

I'd like to see the big expansion for skyrim to be in Hammerfell, with Empire fighting Altmer as well. It seems the obvious choice.

Only problem is that the Empire is not in Hammerfell anymore. They ceded it because they refusse the treaty. In the end, the Redguards and Thalmor fought on with the Redguards eventually winning.
Maybe the Thalmor invade again and the empire, hoping to strengthen tie withe Hammerfell, help defend them. Unlikely but you never know.
