I had recently just reached level 20 and aquired the explorer perk and noticed a sniper nest just up from cottonwood cove obviosly you'll have geussed thered be some ammo or perhaps a weapon . at the sniper nest theres a footlocker (very hard ) and inside is the ledgendary gobi rifle . its absolutely amazing for all those who havent got it i suggets a trek down to get it coz your missin out .

Also while ive got your attention . I cant seem to find the armory in the vault with all the ghouls 34 i think it is , anyone got any tips

I prefer this machine, just because I love the m1 garand. Always been my favourite semi-auto to use in wwII games.

The vault armory should be easy to find, just go downstairs and follow the corridors. Now getting into the vaults a different story. Nice little puzzle.

The vault armory should be easy to find, just go downstairs and follow the corridors. Now getting into the vaults a different story. Nice little puzzle.

the vaults aren't that large. the confusion is the levels in each section show up on the game map as one level.

the room that perhaps is causing the most problem is the one with the safe. it has two entrances/exists. some of the rooms do look alike when going around in circles.

I thought the gobi got nerfed in the last patch? I wouldn't know as I have never used it.

Actually I posted this just before i discoverd this machine which is miles better and i find it quite accurate

The Gobi Campaign Rifle is my favorite so far but after going through 600 rounds of .308 in just 4 hours of play (lots of dead deathclaws) I had to put it away until I could acquire more .308 rounds. Right now I'm using a combination of the Ratslayer for sniping and long-distance scouting and the All-American for close-up battles.
