I love the crazy quests, and the deep ones... Nix the FED-EX

After straying from the beaten paths of the main-quest, I ran into several great quests.

Well played and visualized. Unlike many of the FED-EX delivery-boy quests that have you running all over creation for petty rewards.

The depth of the story, from what little I didn't click-past, was a nice bonus. Matched the settings and play real well. Again, more-so than some other quests that just seem thrown-into the game.

I felt like I was playing Morrowind again, or some of the greater quests in Oblivion. I loved the long quests that didn't make you trek all over creation, with a nice flow to them. Those really pull you in, and without a reward, they still make you feel like you accomplished something. Without getting into a spoiler... Some of the mines and excavation quests are ones that I can think of, which hold this draw. Even though I can slaughter everything easy, I find myself taking cover around corners, and love trying to figure-out some of the non-obvious puzzles. Finding ways to use my surroundings to my advantage. Way more fun than hack-n-slashing, which is my last resort.

(Once they fix the bugs, I can play them with shadows, details, and the desired special-effects that currently limit my playing time to 10-minute bursts of crashing. Lucky me, I save after every creature and door now. lol. Up to 800+ saves, on my level 40 guy, who hasn't even done any quests yet. My other character is only a petty level 25, but he does more quests. I use him as my scout, before my other guy will be used to do the same quests. Once he is level 50, and the game is more of a challenge for him.)

The quests are much more involved in this game than in past games. I personally don't need an in game reward for a quest if the experience was good. So far, every dungeon I have been in has a story behind it, if you know where to look.

I have not done that many quests but I would like to have some more ways to solve a quest, like Fallout New Vegas offered. Not paths per say, but an evil or neutral or good way to resolve the quest. Perhaps there is more of that, but I just finished the MQ and now in the middle of the Civil War. However, I am 100 hours into the game where I finished the Main Quest and my goal was to focus on the MQ from the get go, just so I would know if I wanted my future characters to deal with it or not. All those hours came from the irresistible pull of the Misc Side Quests that kept landing in my Journal. I am not saying the quests were not fun, I just want more choices in the quest paths.
